We hate this stuff and take it all seriously.  This shouldn't be happening, just because you can do something doesn't mean it should be done.  It's also not the way we want to be portrayed.

Simplest Easiest way is for everyone to reply to War Machine's thread and simply co-sign it.

it could be that simple or elaborate as you want, but if we can get that thread filled with over 3,000 replies, arenanet will not be able to simply "ignore it"

the problem is wuvwuv is in such bad state (sorry people this is not "balance" no matter what other posters may try to sell you) that I doubt we can even get 1,000 replied there

hell.. I don't know if we as a community can even get 500 Co-Sign replies

that is how far wuvwuv has fallen and how disillusioned people have become with arenanet

this game had such potential and the most shocking twist i never saw was that arenanet's own indifference is what killed their game

I agree the way to do it is to get replies.  But I think WM did it wrong.  IMO, it would be better if the community comes together and makes a thread together.  It shows organization and seriousness.

100% Agree (First time ever I think) I have seen the videos on how to do it because they are fairly prolific. That being said I think it's a safe assumption that no server wants people doing this and I  would imagine if you see this on a server to pass it onto that server as its something all sides are against and it would be solved faster behind closed doors.

I'm curious. Are you the [Agg] that was on Blackgate or that came from CD? I'm curious because I don't remember Agg being so active when on BG. Only Combo Breaker sticks out in my memory, but maybe that's only because he was more vocal than others. Anyhoo, the forum posting and videos seemed to only spring up after the transfer to SoS.

We were on Blackgate (before they were T1) but left due to guild reasons, and then moved to CD for 2 days then finally decided on making SoS our new home. And yes we got more vocal about our guild with forum posting and videos when we finally settled in on SoS.

It was difficult fielding our full force in Blackgate due to the queue times at that present time. Also, I played a different toon when I was on blackgate

Okay thanks. I do remember the move, just after the TA guilds and others transferred to BG. I remember Combo Breaker posting publicly being pissed off about the stacking that was happening (funny how perception can be different than reality) and some ego conflicts going on between commanders out on the field. I figured that was the primary reason for the transfer. Anyhoo, it looks like you guys are having fun so congrats on the successes.

As an aside your guild has certainly provided some great fights especially on that corner of SOS borderlands for us. Don't think we've faced you too much before the last server reset. Been a lot of great pvp - and that defense you guys pulled on Foghaven on Friday was insane - frustrated our repeated pushes for what ? 4+ hours? I can't say it was fun exactly because almost everything we tried failed. One of the more epic supply camp battles I have been involved in!

Looking forward to closing out the week with some great competition!

Are there actually any facts out there regarding coverage?

I'm on during the Oceanic and Euro prime times and SoS never has superior numbers, last night for example SBI and JQ equaled our coverage, if not JQ had greater numbers than the other two.

Right now it's 6pm in California and there is not a single queue. (I rarely play at this time but it looks like all 3 servers have a significant  presence on every BL)

Anecdotal evidence and perceptions are useless at best, people tend to look with their emotion.

Only ArenaNet has the facts. They won't release them though, as it would be embarrassing to the game.

They once released queue data for all servers, this was a month after the game was released. http://www.guildwars...ueue-size-data/

You see a graph of Potential Points over time, which will indicate when each server has strong coverage and when it is lacking.

Hello Cirus

Here are some observations regarding the state of WvW for Tier 1 since I've been in SBI for the last month:

1. The number of old timers have dropped substantially. The names I saw in EB and the borderlands have changed drastically over the last week or 2. Quite a few are under 80s and I am sure that most are not alts. The newbies had to be educated on WvW siege uses, etc. There is a 2nd wave of newcomers but not enough to make up for lost numbers. We are usually outmanned on 1 or more maps at all time zones. At least 50% of the old SBI commanders are missing.

2. The drop is sudden, both in Asia and NA prime. There are many reasons but I won't speculate because we don't have data from Anet. Some of what I know/read from WvWers is burnout, rewards, etc.

3. Also, the drop in JQ for Asian time zone was dramatic for the last 2 weeks also. (Except for Asia prime yesterday).

From what you have said, it seems that it's happening to T1 servers (and probably other tiers). This trend is likely irreversible unless something drastic is done. And since Anet doesn't make money from WvW it will not be a priority due to the number of programmers/developers they have. Hence the Feb update has a 60% chance of being too little too late. Pardon me for the bleak outlook but their track record for WvW since beta shows that they don't care for WvW enough, there are very few companies that put the gamer above profits (long and short term). That said, I will keep on playing for a while because I love WvW and killing people.

Yes, I keep seeing new commanders in SBI but many of the older and better ones don't seem to play anymore or they transferred servers.

I totally agree with your points. I'm also still having lots of fun with WvW, sadly it seems that the majority of players aren't having the same. If WvW doesn't survive until the next patch, it could be dead forever.

The outer wall was already down when we executed the portal bridge.
