I was leveling my warrior in shield bluff point I think it is. Saw 4 warriors and a guridan I beleive run past me running together feet going threw the ground doing the rubber band thing that bots do. I guess a company found there way threw. If 1 can get threw it wont take them long for all of them to come threw again.

I guess it amazed me that it lasted this long without any bots a few weeks of peace... I reported them doubt it will do any good. Has anyone else seen any other bots as well?

I've seen some naked people up in Frostgorge in Blacktide. They kinda just stand there. I don't know if that's a trading post one or something, but i see it.

I haven't seen any in awhile on Tarnished Coast but I do agree, if one hacker can makes it way in, others will be back too.

Hang around Lornar's Pass map.  Been leveling through there.  I've encountered 5 teleporting bots.  Teleport to node, harvest, vanish.
It's okay to enjoy crap if you're willing to admit it's crap.
Every patch is like ArenaNet walking out onto the stage of the International Don't Kitten Up Championship, and then proceeding to shiv itself in the stomach 30 times while screaming "IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD! IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!"

Pretty much.  They don't really affect my game beyond gold spam, thanks to jodes being personal.  I don't buy gold.

As long as they are suppressing prices, I'm good. Eff ArenaNet and their market manipulation.

Personally I'm totally fine with bots, since - beside gold spamming - there's nothing bad about them, for me atleast.

Trading Post prices will drop soon, hopefully, and I will be able to realistically start thinking about getting my legendary.

This is sad, people supporting bots because of inflation. It's like me supporting software piracy because exchange rates are too high ... wait, that's what everyone in my country does.

Can't as I care, Anet have destroyed the economy for the ordinary player with the last update, so anything that counters their socialist market economy, the better!

I find it sad that people are so use to prices with bots in the game that they think the economy is broken without bots.

Kinda funny, I feel the same. The initial bot bans were met with welcome and people were like, ooh we can make money now. The catch then turned up; everything got significantly more expensive and so much so that it negates most farming benefits. Economics is an iffy subject at best anyway (hell most in game and real life economies are plain bad even if functional), but when it gets in the way of so much game play you know you have to do more than ban bots. You know, like not making every useful recipe require 250 of the highest mats.

What a nice representation of the borderline retarded community you are. People are going to farm regardless, it's how effective farming is that's the problem and how anet look like they're intentionally making pretty much everything hard to obtain. They honestly have no idea what they're doing on a practical level.

I didn't like bots before, but I will welcome them back with open arms. This game is so empty that I can never do anything in PvE because all the champions in the map are constantly up. At least with bots I can aggro the champion into their rotations so they can help me take it down.

How do you know they are bots? I park alts next to nodes. Log in, harvest, log out. No teleport and I'm not a bot.

It could be bot automated but doing it 24/7 at the node respawn rate would be easily detected and harvesting one node at the respawn rate doesn't offer much return for the cost of a character slot.

At current 3rd party gold rates a character slot would have to generate 22 gold to break even, how long does it take a node to generate 22 gold worth of materials?

I welcome anything that makes this game more fun for me.  Anet are making this game less fun, so balls to them.  On the bright side, England beat the All Blacks so who really gives a damn about a computer game?

Instead of farmming for materials when the prices are high, so you can earn some money, you guy prefer the bots back so the prices go down again? Where's the logic there? The economy is now great for those who are selling T6 materials, but awful for the buyers.

Crafting wasn't really profitable, even when the prices were low.

Now it's the chance people! Farm and earn money now, then wait for the prices to drop!

They glitch into the node and spaz out all over the place.  And it's a freakin' Iron node

Why would you log out at an Iron node?

They know exactly what they are doing.  They are manipulating market forces to keep a percentage of the playerbase who either have no time to farm or find it too grindy to buy into the RMT and create gold.  Their current business model is to create a need for gold.

Eh, personally. With certain folks around here actively advertising their usage of various programs, I'm not surprised that there are bots around. However. Anet got rid of them once, they can get rid of them again.

What?! õ_ô
It's the other way round! With the old prices, you could farm materials for 1 hour and get pretty nothing back. Now it's more profitable farmming. The only bad thing Anet made was to nerf the most popular farm spots as Orr in general, forcing you go either run FoM (lv 65+ dungeons) or try your luck on Frostgore / Southsun Cove.
