I don't think we have to worry about falling down the ladder anytime soon. We've always been weak hours other then NA Prime and as a server continue to fight win or lose no matter how far behind we are.

Seems like the overwhelming majority of SoR are there for good fights. Regardless of points those good fights happen when we are on so we continue to show up. We are kind of stuck at 5th because of coverage issues but everyone still seems to be having a blast fighting during NA Prime when we are on. If we got better Oceanic coverage it would definitely help and probably shoot us into T1 but I don't think there is any worry of us falling out of 5th anytime soon. Short of some other server getting better coverage then us.

IoJ did beat us last week. Not to take anything away from them because it was a great comeback but it was more indicative of our major WvW'rs getting some rest before the server resets thinking the week was over and decided. It wasn't cause by a lose of players because of not getting first.

The only loses we are facing are the same PS2 loses all servers are facing and the soon to be DF loses. I anticipate the DF to impact BG the most. I think you have a few top notch guilds that plan to switch to it but I could be wrong.

Had some fun tonight scores jumped around heaps

at one stage BG had 425pp and IoJ n SoR managed to peg it back to under 200 until re-enforcements came to BG borderlands

had fun running around with a few friends and some new ones, nearly ninja'd mendons with 1 catapult, but did it really need 30 of you to wipe out 4 of us lol, that was some nice fights from anz all the way to mendons (ohh i was the annoying asura mesmer ...but you can call me bait :P )

atm it is a really good time to run in a grp of 4-8 people capping supply camps and trying to take out towers if possible

thx for the fun IoJ n SoR, look forward to tomorrow nite

well, it's not so fun any more when you constantly give it your best and still end up being number 2 for weeks. SoR has a huge 24 hour  coverage issue, and is there any recruitment effort going on to address the need for other time zones other than NA prime time? I see BG makes threads to recruitment, where is SoR's thread? Frankly, I just think there are more PvE carebears on SoR, I bet most people were in FOTM instead of WvW.

There's also quite a few commanders for SoR that are not very good at leading, like the ones in EB last night. One or two even blame the lack of numbers (this is during NA prime time) instead of trying to lead what we have to go somewhere else to get points, instead of defend with no sense of direction.

Creating a random thread on a forum saying you need Oceanic's is close to if not the worst form of recruiting for WvW guilds. You don't just want numbers you want quality. You don't get Quality doing it that way. So basically what I am saying is, just because you don't see random threads doesn't mean people aren't trying to recruit.

Also it's very easy to point blame and say "no one is recruiting" or insert "this is whats wrong" comment here but what are you doing to try to fix it? Fortunately I would say the majority of solid WvW'rs on SoR do not share your attitude at least the ones I have had the pleasure to fight with.

Don't get me wrong no one wants to stay at 5th and say, "It's all about the fights." We want T1 and 1st just as bad as anyone else but we aren't going to give up as easy as other servers and just stop showing up when it's clear we can't win. We'll continue to fight hard while trying to get the coverage we need.

SoR does have a recruitment thread. A player on SoS started it.

There are people working on recruiting more off-peak guilds for SoR and I'm told we even have some interested but atm they have run into the issue of SoR being full nearly all the time so transferring large guilds over is difficult.

Congrats on another win BG. We'll actually gain some rating this week with this decisive victory

edit: Good luck to everyone after the reset tonight!
