Anyone else notice this? Seeing the map spam again, as well as the mail spam.

That and basic items being "bought" for crazy amount of money, which is a large indication of the bots using it to trade over cash to people and stuff starting to drop in value once again.

Do you reckon Arenanet will ever be able to cull the problem once and for all?

What the hell are you talking about? You can't trade the gold for accountbound items.

There was a few non account bound items on it for a brief period yesterday. If the guy it wasn't intended to didn't buy them and some lucky SOB did instead, it probably made his day

You're probably thinking of the account bound chef stuff, if not it would make NO sense to "put" something at a high gold value on tp for a gold farmer to buy since you need a listing fee to do so, like selling a copper ore for 200g so the gold farmers can buy it. Who is going to put the listing fee price? Not the gold farmer.

No, really, what are you talking about?  Because if you're referring to people putting high bids for untradable items then you're confused - you cannot transfer gold this way, it's just people showing off.

lemon, celery, mining pick, pear are all account bound. And you really think that would be a good way for gold sellers to transfer money? that would be borderline insane. Let's say someone actually did put a huge buy order for something simple that isn't account bound, with how many people constantly use the TP, the chances of them getting the trade through are minimal. Especially with how long they are left up for us to see.

No idea, ask them.  You can't fulfil those buy orders because the items being bid on are untradable.  People have been doing this for weeks, there was a powertrader buff up for 3200 last month.  Not seen anything as impressive as that since.

Well if something that expensive doesn't scream gold selling/buying involvement, I don't know what does.

You got me excited for a second, I thought this was the harbringer of a drop in unidentified dye price. Dangit.

Even if it doesn't show their name it's still showing the millions of people that play that somebody has that amount of gold in the game, and their guildies/friends will know it's them and could spread the word. Still getting an ego boost anonymously.

It's not that hard to make money in GW2.  I put in about 20 mins a day and I hit 300g over the weekend.  Presumably someone with 3200g did really well with early precursors and forge gambling before all the money was drained from it and now has nothing better to do with their money than show off.

I guess it depends on how much money you think you need, but 300g is more than I know what to do with besides just making more money for the fun of it.

im having big issues even getting the 120g i need to have the neccesary money for my legendary. now that less than half of what you got but i cant even get near it. feel free to pm me some tips it would be highly appreciated.

As far as personal tips from me go, buy items cheap, sell for a profit.  It's really that simple - people want money fast so you make profit by being patient, be willing to let your sell orders sit on the market for a while in order to get the best price.

Anyway, since this thread really is just about those untradable items and I've closed 2 threads on this already I'm gonna close this one too since it's pretty misleading.
