Had to vote for the better game, taking into account design and execution so...Dishonored :/

Voted for Dishonored because "Guild Wars 2 is an innovative MMORPG that lets you play how you want."  isn't really true anymore.

Play Fractals or lose.

GW2 is a decent game, but there is no way that it competes with dishonored. I voted dishonored, I would have voted GW2 if it was a competition in longevity though.

What is the voting criteria? What's it out of? Mechanics? How interesting it is? Longevity in terms of how quickly one might get bored? Progression? Fairness?

Trying to be innovative isn't really enough, if you do it, do it in a good way. Zergs so you can't even tag a mob, dodging AoE circles in every single dungeon and buggy content with events that don't trigger and people disconnecting - well I'm sorry, it isn't going to get my vote.
And replacing the trinity so you won't have to look for a healer and subsequently splitting up the dungeon running community between lfg fractal 1-80 so you're still waiting for extended lenghths for your particular level isn't either.

Haven't played Dishonoured, loved how it looked in trailers though but it's definitely not enough to cast a ballot.

Borderlands 2 seems pretty damn popular though

I don't know Dishonored and from what I read it's nothing I'd ever play, so I'm not going to cast a vote. I'm also not deluding myself that by going around saying Dishonored, a game that has no common grounds with Guild Wars 2 (apples and pears people), is far better at this or that and thus deserves the vote more, Anet will magically open their eyes and turn Guild Wars 2 in your own personal Utopia.

It's funny how people seem to be using this popularity contest as a way to "punish" Anet. Then again, what else is such a poll good for anyway.

I've never played Dishonoured but it looks cool, almost same atmosphere as Silent Hill on PS1. GW2 is stil better though.

It surprises me how many traitors there are in this thread.

Gotta give it to the better game. There are too few non-lethal games about, and even less good ones. To me, Dishonored is the closest the current generation is going to get to Thief. I wasn't a fan of the silent protagonist versus the charismatic and sharky Garret, but... it's still not even a competition.

Haha. GW2 iz serious business.

People are allowed to like other games more, ya know? I like BL2 better because of the awesomely hilarious writing. The characters are interesting and funny. The gameplay is fun (especially in co-op) and it has loot.

Voted GW2.
Loved Dishonored but it's just not the scale and scope of GW2.
Also I have finished Dishonored and do not see myself picking it up again. Lasted a little over 1 week.
GW2 will keep me busy for years.

You should post this on reddit if you haven't yet. The so called community there is blindly loyal to anything ArenaNet and GW2 related. Going so far as to abandoning all reason and worshipping players who contribute nothing but guides of very obvious things or unrelated vlogs about their terrible life. ArenaNet themselves seem to think highly of such players as seen in-game, so this website is your best bet if you want GW2 to win yet another most meaningless contest.

Strange so many strong feelings from people who don't like the game or anet have already or are considering stopping playing and moving on to some other game.

Still here on the forums though.

Still posting about how awful anet is how terrible the game is how many broken promises they made etc.

Its a game if you don't like it that much stop posting, its not as if suddenly people will convert to your ideas and even if they did its unimportant.

Players who love the game like the game or just trust that it will get fixed and all will be well in the end actually have a reason to be here.

You could all be on some other games forums contributing to another possibly great game, anything else is a waste of your time.

How am i blind when i enjoy the game and can clearly see that they bring alot more than other mmorpgs that even have a subscription fee?

I can agree on that Guild Wars 2 wasn't ready when they released it, still a great game and all those things will be added in the coming months. read interviews.

At the moment i play SWTOR and HoN, not been playing GW2 for 2 weeks. Currently waiting for the Winterday update.

Fortunately Guild Wars 2 is winning (as of the time when i'm writing the post) with Dishonored...really people? Do you consider Dishonored better? Sure it's nice game, with very good gameplay and graphics...but compare it to GW2's massive amount of content...nowhere near.

Looking at the future of GW2 (because not doing so would be almost unfair in this competition) since MMOs take time to become refined while a single player game is much easier to refine and get the things right because of a much smaller space and more linear gameplay. Don't get me wrong, Dishonored was an amazing game that I spent a looot of time playing it and abusing the powers to get to all sorts of nooks and crannies and pull off assassinaiton combos. I just see GW2 as being able to do so much in the future and would love to see it win which would bring in even more people to play with.
