Hi there! I been wondering how everyone else is doing at Fractals of the Mists dungeon. So far im having a little bit of trouble when my teammates are glass cannons from lvl 10+.

I wear soldier runes with Tough/Vit/Power gear exotic.
This is my build:






In my loadout i use Wall of Reflection most of the dungeon on the #8. I grab the adds and protect them from high damage. But sometimes i wish ill get a little help, when a warrior of other guardian joins is a big relief.

How is your experience so far?

Wrong forum buddy! Needs to be in PvE, but your traits are all whack. I'm sure you can get a better explanation when you move it.

lately i am finding full knight armor + knight jewelry + blood sigil on weapon + lifesteal food
to work better than full soldiers for tanking.
(running 0/10/30/30/0 build)
the toughness and high crit rate to proc blood sigil + lifesteal food seems to give overall more survivability.

even my scepter have blood sigil on them

as for food , i use Blackberry Pie(2c+ ?) for normal runs or Omnomberry Ghost(4s+) when i feel i need more survivability.

but i still do pack a set of soldier armor for the hammer fractals though , it just feels safer to have a bigger hp buffer to pick up the hammer with , even though its % dmg.

I reached fractal level 15 two weeks ago and then took a break for finals week in college. I sort of wish that the 55 pages I've written over 3 essays was usable in guild wars. (12 - Guns & the decline of the Native American // 8 - Court precedence for Matthews v. Kountze ISD // 35 - 30 minute documentary script, single column style)

I am at lv 21 and stuck there.
Not because I cannot do it ( I know my stuff and have enough agony resist), but because it is impossible to find a group.

Im at 31.  At lvl 10 I tihink it still ok to be glass cannon or even magic find gear, but closer to 20 and up, I think It will be tougher to be glass cannon.  I thought at 23ish it became quite challenging and people had to really learn how to do each dungeon.  At mid 20s, people are more careful and smarter how they play.  I found more problems at lower 20s than upper 20s since at lower 20s people were still learing.

Food and potion (especially for dredge and elemental) buff helps.

Use www.gw2lfg.com the easiest way to find party.

That's exactly how I am playing, currently in level 23.

I have though/vit/power pieces from Orr, the boots and helmet with same stats but Ascalon dungeon.

I got 2 drops purple rings, and they look like knight if im not wrong. I wanted to use soldier rings but.. since i have this ones what you guys thinks? i found a thread on how to accessorize your guardian but is too old. right now precision is my lowest stat. I have my fractal back is soldier. Why to have crit damage when i dont have enough crit % in the first place? or precision greatly helps to increase my crit chance?

soldier rings are better? or thats too much hp/toughness already? im good with my 20k hp already.. and 3k thoughness should i use berserkers instead? guys imagine me ill be in your fractal group so what would you like me to be with this stats situation?

I have just finished lvl 8 this weekend. I'm still running with my MF gear around, because i'm poor and dont want to spend any money . I think i'll buy karma armor (since i have 600k karma lying around). For now i have been running AH build with hammer/staff, but i'm thinking of switching to mace+scepter/staff for the 10+lvl. I'll see. I still have to make up my mind of what i'll be running, then i'm off to buy armor and some trinkets.

But i must say i'm a little scared, but not because i would not be able to take care for myself in the dungeon but because some pug's are just stupid. When i was doing lvl 7, someone was yelling at me all the time, because he was dawned half of the time we were in the dungeon. Put up some protection, where is your aegis.... when i was playing with the guild, there were no such problems... but most of the time, people form the guild are not online, or  are doing something else, and i have to find random people.

Im on lvl 14 and I run an offensive style guardian with some support, high crit hits, medium-high power support guardian with no problems.

I would be on lvl 20 by now if it wasn't for my team mates or me dis connecting or the ton of bugs past few weeks in fractals making them uncompleteable sometimes....

So I have not run any in past 1-2 weeks. Will probably start again soon.

@OP

For your remark on teammates, every range class can be glass cannon even on very high lvl of fractals !
It`s better to make dmg then pretend you are something your not, as it goes for Guardian....will you take one for the team
Search for fractals lvl 52 video on youtube, dude is glass cannon mesmer and it plays with no problems....
On later note fractals is pain in the butt to get party for.....i know for the site ! (and drops suck like in the rest of the game) !!!
