It might have been posted somewhere before, but I can't find a list of how long the various dungeon paths usually take.  I haven't tried a lot of them yet, so a list of rough average times would be helpful.  I know it varies greatly, but I also know some are just longer than others.  Anyone have any ideas of estimates?  Or if they could point me somewhere that might have estimates?

(I joined a CoE instead of CoF group by mistake today and the trip took well over twice as long.)

It really depends on which path you are taking, but yes some dungeons are longer then others (CoE is harder and longer then CoF, mainly cuz CoF is too easy).

Dont know of such a list.. are you looking for EVERY dungeon? or some specific paths?

Well I guess a list of all 24 paths would be neat, but I'm really curious about the six dungeons I haven't tried (or haven't often tried) which is everything except AC and CoF.

Rough estimates (based off how I think of them)

CM: Can't say b/c I don't do enough of this one (can you blame me gear from here sucks bollocks)
TA: 30-45 minutes
SE: 30-50 minutes (now that path 1 is much more difficult)
HotW: Around 45 minutes (very tanky bosses)
CoE: 35-55 minutes
Arah: Anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours (yea I'm looking at you path 4 -.-)

Yea these are just based off how I see. I usually range in the earliest times only after doing them so many times but youll prob range in the higher times if it's your first time in those dungeons.

Depends entirely on who's doing the dungeon. Guild teams will likely be much faster than PUG teams and guild teams that play really well together will burn through them even faster.

Trouble with getting estimates for dungeon path times is that it's hugely dependent on the group you are with and the number of things the group chooses to skip. My very first exposure in Arah ended up taking over 2 hours, ended with us breaking a piece of gear or two and we still didn't complete it. Later when I was more experienced myself and also had the great fortune of joining up with a group that ran the dungeon more regularly, that easily cut the time in half and we finished that same path with minimal blood, sweat and tears.

That would sometimes explain the wildly varying opinion on dungeons in some threads. Some say its awfully difficult and nothing more than an expensive (ie. repair costs) experience, and others believe it's very straight forward and rewarding.

As many people said, its heavily based on the team you are playing with.
Assuming to play with experienced players, and assuming not to skip too much, I'd say:

AC
path 1: 20 mins or less.
path 2: 25 mins or less.
path 3: 20 mins or less

CM:
path 1 and 3 : 20-25 mins
path 2: cant really say anything, I've done it just a couple of times.

TA:

Up: 20-30 mins
Forward-up :25-35 mins.
Forward-forward: 30-40 mins.

SE:

Path 3: doable in 20 mins or even less.
path 1,2 : cant say much, I've ran those just a couple of times.

CoF:
path 1: 10 mins or less.
path 2: about 20 mins.
path 3: cant say much, I did it only once, requires a good coordination between team members and its easy to lose a lot of time for that.

CoE:
path 1: 20 mins or less
path 2: 20-25 mins.
path 3: depending on what you skip and how fast you kill the destroyer boss, 30-50 min.

Hotw:
cant say much about this, I dont like it and ran every path just once.

Arah:

path 1: 1.5 hours, maybe less, I've done it only 2-3 times.
path 2: less than 1 hour, but running past mobs between bosses is pretty hard, and time increases a LOT if you want to kill everything.
path 3: 30-35 mins, assuming to skip useless mobs between the 1st and 2nd boss, and between lupicus and final boss.
path 4: 1 hour at best, assuming you can quickly kill Dwayna.

I've run HotW a bunch, but it's the only one I can really comment on.
Path 1 - Best PuG time was 19 minutes, usually around a half hour, maybe a little less
Path 2 - Never did this one alone (see below)
Path 3 (+Path 2) - Plan on at least an hour for this run with PuGs, but it is sort of a 2 for 1 deal.   You can get credit for both of the paths in one run if you swim through the ice tunnel after killing the path 3 boss and go kill the path 2 boss. I would believe that this is working as intended, because the tunnel is so obvious and gives xp when you discover it.

I wondered about this too. If it wasn't intended, how can it be in thegame, and wouldn't have they fixed it by now?
On the other hand: I hope it's not seen an "exploit" and ANet won't ban people for doing it.
