sorry if this is a repost, but i dont see my original online.  

there's a thief i keep encountering that is somehow able to bypass revealed.  This means she (female charR), is able to repeatedly restealth in less than 3 seconds, in fact, she 's odne it somtimes 2-3 times in 1 second.  

as far as i know, this is not working as intended, and is grossly overpowered.  It's near impossible to kill her, with almost no opening to attack her.  

what do you guys think?

Is she attacking out of stealth? The only time the Revealed Debuff pops up is if you attack out of stealth. If the answer is "yes," there is also the option that she's figured out the timing to attack the same second stealth runs out which is an exploit (or talent) some have mastered.

This. And its not an exploit.... its called casting CnD as your coming out of stealth and taking advantage of the fact the skill doesn't "hit" until.... it well hits a target, putting you right back into stealth. Doesn't exactly do alot of dmg that way... but is very trolly.

If she is straight up backstabbing you, then yes, its a glitch/exploit (after posting, thought of this, you may be able to cast Backstab before stealth is gone, and have it land as a backstab a fraction of a second after stealth is gone). If she is continually using CnD then what you describe is somewhat possible. At least as far as the attacking and going immediately back into stealth.

However, you also mention that this thief is going in and out of stealth multiple times in a second. That is completely impossible without the use of hacks. The slightest chance they could use a stealthing skill that many times in a second would require haste, and then it being in a 1 second span might be a little exaggerated. Not to mention the stealth duration not allowing this in typical fashion, regardless of physical limitations of using skills that fast.

i've encoutnered her a few times again, hasnt been as blatant yet.  i  switched to S/P, with double Sigil of Rage and high crit, and immob/stunlocked her ass, getting her killed over and over, even through the stealth.  It's been a good counter so far for stealth abusers.

i can only surmise what happened, maybe she figured something before the patch, maybe it wa really just lag.  but i could swear by it, she indeed stealthed more than once per 3 -4 seconsd.
