This is aggravating...... I suggest finding a thief and having him use shadow refuge on you. It gives you enough time to commune. (clearly not ideal, but all these points were insanely easy on my thief)

All non-80 zones are pretty much dead due to this system, while with the district system you could always find someone.
Infact TES online is going to use something like that.
Not changing this system leads to an empty world.
Changing this system requires a big change of the game.
Anet doesn't seem willing to accept that and do this change so we'll have to stick with dead zones.

WHAT?
Never-ever would be my answer and I wonder how anyone could even ask this question?!

- waste 5-15min to kill it
- get **** loot (trophy junk or nothing)
- kill a random mob near him get blue/green item
This is After the devs said theyve repair it.

What?
Not to mention - what's the point of wasting 15 minutes on slaying Tequati or Jormag? I always get only blues and green gems
TDLR rewards are discouraging and bad..

You mean "yellow" drop? aka Rares.
Have to agree with you anyways, I am currently working on lv 70+ maps completion for some promising exotics reward

I take them down solo or get help via chat if I can't.
I don't do it for loot, I do it for fun.
But I am 80 and well geared, I did not bother when leveling, takes to long.
I find them a fun challenge now.
Perhaps this is where the op is confused about them,
just because the boss is in that zone, may or may not relate to you killing them at said level.
Either way, they pose no barrier nor hinder you from advancing.
Fight if you wish or skip if you wish. Up to you.
What's the problem with that?
I am glad they are there.

That is your reward. The drops are for coin. If everyone got exotic in all dungeons after only a week...what would be the point?
You think those exotics would have value?

gold is a sub-species of the color yellow, don't be a twit. You knew what he meant via context. They were called golds in GW1, even when we had gold and platinum pieces. And there was no confusion.

The problem isn't so much for me having already experienced the content at release but new players. I see them coming into this game and getting frustrated both pve and pvp. Try being a new player and theres just empty zones lol. Most will quit.

I hardly get overflows on weekdays. Weekends yes but I took a 3 week break as MANY suggested and now I am behind Fractal levels, and from what I have heard we've been fighting the same 2 servers for the past 3 weeks. Not to mention the general dead zone which all zones have become. I ran Plinx with 3 people lol. At prime time Saturday.

TBH, I still blame Anet for putting FOTM in LA because almost everyone is camping in LA for FOTM and no one bothers to go out of LA.
For those DEs that are impossible to solo, I think Anet should give us an option to look for NPC reinforcement. There are some DEs with that option, you see the DE happening and you have 2 choices: to solo it yourself or to travel to another nearby outpost to talk to the NPC to request their assistance.

The champions are fine. Just that Anet should make sure champions at least drop a 'Rare' stuff.
I think the problem is incentive. You don't get customers returning if you give them crappy shit.

People are blaming their bad luck on "stealth nerfs" without realizing that statistics sometimes work against them.

Yeah and most probably you're the only one chasing these for "fun" lol.

I have two pieces of temple gear. Have my hat, got that last week, and got my coat on Saturday night. (Tarnished Coast). We always seem to have plenty of people on TC to do the Orr events.

Nope, they did reduce the drop rate. Add to the fact that most DEs are broken AND low population shit's getting ridiculous.
Do you have conclusive proof that they reduced the drop rate? Seriously? Do you have a quote from a dev saying "yeah we scaled back drops because they were obviously too high to begin with and we don't want our players getting rich without buying gems."?

How cool would a stable Area-Population be.
