I haven't been able to find any posts pertaining to this, so hopefully this isn't a repeat (if it is I'm so terribly sorry! >_<), but I thought it might be nice to have a few of the enemy animal species in-game available to charm as juvenille pets as well as minis.
For example, I suggest that these species be added in mini and juvenille pet forms, with these abilities perhaps:
Griffons (owl/eagle)- icy shriek/ piercing shriek (I would love a mini owl griffon! they're adorable)
Bats - sonic blast? some kind of sonic attack.
Marmox- I'd place these in with pigs. So forage
Dolyak- headbutt? stomp? I wouldn't mind a yakkington of my own!
Minotaurs- (I know the only person to ever manage to tame one was Sorcerer Lord Kree, according to the GW1 wiki, so perhaps make this only available to charm after completing some kind of legacy quest related to that) bull's charge.
If anyone has any other related ideas or animals they can think of, you know what to do!
Thanks.
(perhaps it might be possible to have a slot for a mini, with a hide/unhide option? I keep accidentally puting them back in storage. something like an accesory slot)

Do minis get auto deposited in the bank if you have them in an invisible bag?

minis don't get auto deposited if they're in an invisible bag, but its still a hassle when you're short on space. Tigers are canthan and lions are elonan, so they'll likely appear in a future update when those countries are added. I hope!

Also maybe some sort of pet level system, or something you can spend Skill Points on maybe, to get say, bigger, more powerful versions, like a Broodmother, or similar upgrades. It would obviously need to take a fair number of points, and maybe even a number of days between upgrading a pet so you don't just get a max level pet in a day just because it's a new character. Also I agree, Lions and the like could be very welcome new pets.

Raptors - Orcs already have them too
Skelk - A Charr village is successfully taming them to fight/work for them
All 3 species have a variety and I'd love to have them!
Also, the real River Drakes (the black-gray ones with orange underbelly, not the juveline ones). Want!

Also, a lion/lioness would be awesome!
Tigers as well... possibly even white tigers with a Factions expansion?

Maybe a Moose as well. Charge or headbutt with those antlers. I also woulnd't mind having a Hermit Crab as a pet.

I know the original gw had crabs as pets, or 'reef lurkers', so I would say any crab-like pets would come in an expansion/update with cantha. Moose would be a brilliant pet, big, sturdy and hard to kill. I'd give it high toughness and health, but low/slow attack.

Snow leopard's are already available in-game. Beside the snow leopard lodge in hoelbrak. A new family of monkey pets would be awesome though, I don't think monkeys exist in tyria? Perhaps a cloud simian?
I always loved the phoenix, hopefully it'll be brought back in a future update or as a legacy mini. Perhaps as a reward for collecting all pets and discovering the EOTN in-game?
What about some insect pets? (spiders are not insects, they're arachnids) i.e. wasp or mosquito? or perhaps a giant dragonfly. The important thing is to remain true to the lore.

I think we need more birds. We have eagles, owls, hawks (I think) and ravens, but what about doves, seagulls, pelicans, etc? Or maybe even a penguin at some stage?

Also maybe they could have the pets "grow" or level as in gw1, so start off with a juvenile version, end up with elder or dire etc.
(Start off with juvenile drake, end up with an elder dragon?)
Question, feedback or issue? Pm me!

Agreed. Have them grow in size when they level up would be nice, as well.
