Minor complaint here, I dislike having everyone's custom armor colours in pvp. I'm the kind of person who forgets which team they're on if i don't have some kind of visual cue, so I'd like it back.

Anyone agree/disagree?

They're already working on implementing the option to change it back next patch.  They said on the official forums that the feature to see regular colors was released by accident with this patch, and that the option to change it back and other UI changes (including team color indicators for when you disable team colors) will be released with the next major patch (December 14th).  All we have to do is sit tight for the next week or so, and everyone will win.

If worst comes to worst there is always the scorecard...

It is a lil annoying since you are a random color every time, but getting used to it isn't much of a learning curve.

When you spawn there are huge coloured banners indicating your colour.

If you check the scoreboard you can see what team you're on.

Beyond that, perhaps if you still REALLY need help knowing what team you're on (when most people have a memory and don't need help).

You could take two pieces of paper, colour one blue and one red. At the start of the game check your side, now place the appropriate coloured piece of paper somewhere easy to see (as you forget easy I'd suggest sticking it in the middle of your monitor ontop of your character NICE AND EASY TO SEE).

Solved.

Ah well, it's good to know they're working on an option for it. Checking the scoreboard works to an extent, but I always find myself second guessing which colour I am!

Thanks for the sarcasm Ezra.

Cause that is acceptable. This is simply another slap in the face of the dedicated few spvp community by Anet.

Srly Anet, get your shit together.

The casual PvPers/PvEers whined to no end about getting custom dyes in PvP and Anet caved. I haven't played in almost a month so I didn't even know they did this, but it's disappointing that serious teams will have to wait until Dec. 14 to get this feature back.

When there are heavy middle fights, custom dyes really get in the way, esp considering both of the "tab" target options don't work.

Err, nope.

I mean, unless you have super low resolution, colour blindness and/or myopia

I like it this way, but there is a need for some sort of team identification in future patches.

I'm all for the choice. If you want to look fancy in your black and gold gear, more power to you, but an option to revert back to red and blue seems fair too.

It's only changing it for the player in question. Whether you can see the other team's armor colours doesn't change whether they can see their own.

Wait wait, the damn colored armor in SPVP is gone? So you're not forced to wear red or blue armor anymore?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
