As for SoS, we are a unique server, the native population will never leave because we have nowhere to go. We want to play with other people in our time zone and SoS is the only GW2 server in the world that can provide this.If you're Aussie or Asian and you're tired of playing alone on a deserted server, SoS is the home for you! The NA alliance guilds that transferred over to SoS were not part of any bandwagon and they had no idea that PRX were coming in the first place, it will have no effect on them. As for SoS being stacked, sorry to disappoint you but it never happened
SoS, lets try to win tier 1 for the 4th week in a row, no matter what's thrown at us! We've been through hell before, we'll go through it again if we have to!

Meanwhile SoS JQ and SBI are going to be playing against each other for a couple of weeks yet. THis may be a positive for SoS as the focus (from some on these forums) will be less on PRX.

1. prx did not majorly participate in wvw last week 30th-7th. they capped the map at the start of the day with 20 golems and running around, then dissapeared. it was only today that they announced that they were not no longer participating in sos.
2. at the alliance guild meeting for sos no guilds announced that they were going to leave and follow prx. (or as i have heard from my guild leader who was at the meeting). In fact, the guilds present were 'pumped' because this is now their time to shine. gl to tsym, foe, work and all the other guilds which i have not mentioned. I do not think that sos will spiral downwards.
3. i completely agree and understand prx's decision to leave since sos was already no.1. it gets boring here at the top.
all info i typed here was information that i had heard from my guild leader and from a guy who i know in prx.

Heard a bunch of them play ps2 now and not GW2, I think the golden hour for a battle of the ages (PRX vs Ruin) has passed, and now they are only going to face a few ruin stragglers.

I'm still waiting for the day when EB has no queue in a tier 1 server after reset. That will be the day WvW can be considered dead.

Will be fun to see what SFR can do now, since they already got added coverage by good russian/eastern euro guilds. Also will be interesting to see who will get kicked out of T1 when SFR comes up. I think that it'll be Arborstone sadly and the weasels from Viz will stay.

Here's some of KV's quotes over the past few weeks:
"We do not want to server hop."
"We don't want to leave SoS, but we want to know that at least a few folks have our back."
"We want to make SoS our home and work to build it."
"We don't ask for greatness, we ask simply for effort."
"If you show up and fight... we will look to the future and stand with you."
"Let's not let our server down."
"Im asking you to stand with us tonight."
"What will help your guild gain prestige and new recruits, participating in some PvE events, or being a guild on the #1 server in the game?"
"My point is, you don't get the opportunity everyday to be the best."

You guys are a roach zerg, there is no glory in roach zerging.
Sorry.
When your guild can win a fight with equal numbers as opposed to roach zerging, then we can have a conversation.

Not sure what the evisceration is here. Seems like statements you'd expect from a tier 1 guild that dropped to tier4 and rallied it. This all seems pretty in line with the open letter PRXKV posted to SoS that started a midweek turnaround in one of their matches.

Nearly all postings on the SoS boards are from people people wishing PRX all the best and thanking them for their contribution to the server.

I completely agree if the guild is dieing and moving to another server is going to solve the problem then it's the right move. Looking at the server they moved to, there are no queues on shuffle day (today) at least not in the three hours I was checking it out, I saw three towers captured with no defense at all, literally PvD. Even when SoS was in tier 2 or 3 there were always queues for EB at least all day on shuffle day. Currently SoS has a long queue for EB and the other maps are highly active. Hopefully things improve in europe tier 2 for this week or tier 1 is a lot more active if they go up in a tier next week (which it looks like the server was going to do anyway), otherwise I don't know what PRX bothered switching for (unless they wanted PvD because that's what I'm seeing on the server they moved to). Honestly, I think it's a shame PRX didn't move to one of the NA servers so SoS could compete with them.
Either way I think this (along with War Machine on the forums) is just another anecdote to show WvW needs more developer love to stay competitive. A lot of the big guilds were made up of bandwagoners who were never going to stay around for long (a lot of PRX seemed like this, they were going to leave GW2 sooner or later) but I do think something needs to be done to keep the WvW core active and interested.

loool how are they *ing over SoS? Are you saying PRX is the reason why SoS went from #10 to #1? What guild on SoS are you in?
FoH guild doesn't play GW2 as far as I know, they're still in wow and rift at the moment and have their own private boards. The open boards were an extension of them in name but not really associated with the guild. The admins have neglected it lately so that's why the malware has shown up and stayed for so long, most of the posters moved to another duplicate forum to get away from there morenetz.org, which seems to have gone down as of yesterday... Tuco was a mod on both boards and is a member of PRX, which had a thread on there advertising for them.

Seriously? That was basically all of what was said in the open letter on halloween week to SOS when SOR pulled a quick one on us to cap everything on the halloween event patch to pull a huge turn around lead on us. Highly doubt it was repeated "over the past few weeks" since we've been winning every week for the past two months. Sounds like words for when we're losing...
They kept donated siege..... you wanted them to destroy them before moving? or stand around calling out in lions arch to give them back? lol. I again highly doubt they had people pay a "toll" of donating siege weapons for helping loot the chest. They've done the chest portal runs for the entire server before, as in they go to lions arch and tell people they can go loot the chest and bring their alts if they want and no we didn't need to pay them anything. As a recipient of that reward before, I would not have had a problem giving them the siege weapons as thanks. I would think we would have heard a lot more about this from SOS guilds if any of this went down, just sounds like someone wants to stir up some drama because a big name guild moved. They also moved at the appropriate time, near the end of one match and before the start of another, not midweek.
As for PRX, it's been a fun ride, always enjoyed being part of their "militia". I don't blame them for wanting to move on to other challenges, they may eventually move to Darkfall 2 if there's enough interest and gw2 gets boring by feb. Good luck to them.

But it will be interesting to see how the ladder will balance then.
BT is actually ahead with coverage from Xaoc, a few leftover from Ruin, and good prime time forces who transferred from other servers.
SFR should challenge BT with their new forces, time will tell if they manage to beat them.
Vs and As are behind and pretty much at the same level, As having maybe more structured forces but Vs having a better sustained coverage.
And after that it seems to have a huge gap.
German seems to have lost most of their forces, Desolation needs to rebuild, Baruch Bay lacks day strength and I don't see other Eu server ready and willing to follow Bt and Sfr tracks for now.

11pm/12am GMT to 3/4am GMT are still our weak spot, between Euros going to sleep and Russians waking up, like it's always been, before or after RUIN transfer. That said it will definitely be an intresting matchup, people are getting bored here

XAOC is not really playing atm as you can see and that's what BT is about, defending during day and EU prime time what XAOC did fortify during the early morning.
I think BT will drop from T1 after christmas latest or keep pingpong between T1/2 competing with AS for 3rd slot in T1. Unless XAOC picks up early morning capping again. If the rats that flooded BT will move to SFR, the new to come #1 international server, BT might drop even further.
BT has no queues during EU prime time for a month or so while being #1 EU server, says it all. The EU primetime guilds have either stopped wvw or aren't of significant amount to counter Viz forces.
