Does switching from a kit to your weapon trigger the "on swap" weapon sigils?

No, it does not.

As coglin said, they do not.  But the Devs are working on getting sigils to work while kits are equipped.   Elementalists had a similar problem of weapon swap sigils being utterly useless to them, and they were eventually changed so that these sigils proc'd on attunement swaps.  This means that we're hoping that when they process is finished and sigils begin to work with kits equipped that they will begin to proc on kit swaps.  But that's all it is, hope.  And we don't have a time frame for it.  We just know that they're working on getting sigils to work with kits equipped.

On swap sigils have an internal cooldown, so they can easily do that and still not mess with our instant kit swaps. Just like those on kit equip traits.
