When night-time happens, I hypothesize that the Sun is the Moon's mean older brother, who never lets her have any fun - and when the moon comes out, the Sun is sleeping - so she finally gets a chance to shine, until he wakes up and, in anger, spikes her down from the sky - only to rise up again the next night.
I assure you, I've tried to test it many times - but my results have never been conclusive. Also, I always tend to get distracted midway through testing, and I've never once been able to complete a single test.
Does this theory resonate with you? And since I'm sure it does, in what ways?
