What should we call the botters in GW2? if anyone have an idea, please share it.

Strange, I'm playing GW2 since release and I honestly can't remember seeing any botter. What is all the fuzz even about?

Robin Hoods, because they are/were mostly rangers and they steal/stole from the rich and give/gave to the poor (by keeping TP prices down) ;P

Yep. Botters.

If we called them something else, ArenaNet would have to rename Botter's Bridge in the Kessex Hills.

You know the place: it's where the Centaurs keep trying to rebuild the bridge, and all the qwerty-named Rangers used to stand spamming their autoattacks.

We don't see so many botters on Botter's Bridge these days, but tradition is tradition.

But damn you're lucky if you haven't seen 'em. I think there are less now than a month ago, but you'll still often see generically dressed ranger Rgiklik with his Juvenile Brown Bear longbowing enemies to death whilst going around in circles.

In fact... I have a lowbie ranger alt using a bear (specifically a tribute to a character by Arkas, a well loved Greek cartoonist), and I tend to do silly things so that people don't mistake me for a bot Though I think the named pet and guild tag may be enough, you can never be too careful!

34000 accounts banned even if half buy another copy to try and bot that is $850000 in new copies bought lol.  The reason why I wont play planet side 2 is its free to get and its a fps.  IE its full of cheaters using aimbots and every other cheat known to man.  You ban them they just make a new account.  Thus not solving the problem.

GW2 you have to pay to play.  Thus you bot.. you get banned.. if you want to come back you give Arenanet money!  We get rid of bots and arenanet makes more $$$ off the bots who want to come back.  

That makes the gold sellers have to either lose profit because of banded accounts and having to buy the game again.  Or stick with the hack accounts and steal and bot them till they get banned.  I wish GW2 would sell a key or get a andriod/ios app for secure log in.  Then the hacking would go down AND they lose money with each sessions of bans handed out.

Win Win for Arenanet and the players.
