Hey guys, my warrior was basically stationed in Orr to farm events. After the nerfs I'm playing him more but only in PvE, finishing world completion etc...

I don't take him into dungeons (have my guardian and mesmer geared for that)

So basically my warrior is just for fun, doing events world completion etc...

I have berserker armor for him. GS with sup sigil of accuracy, sword with sup sigil of force.

Now my question is for other equipment.

I got him soldier stats shield from AC. What sigil is best for it? right now I have Sup sigil of paralyzation.

Getting him warhorn from CoF (what CoF stats should I get) and what sigil should I put on it. If I put sup sigil of force on the warhorn, would that equal to 10% damage (warhorn+sword)

Also working on Rifle and Bow. Any sigil suggestions?

Thanks

DPS, high damage

With my build right now I can kill fast with the GS that I have no problems at all in Orr.

As I said, I won't be taking him into dungeons.

They're a fair few dps guides on the forum if you would like to check them out. All really depends on how you wish to play. Currently they're 2 main GS dps guides, a Axe/mace dungeon guide which can be slightly altered for pure damage and a sword survival guide with a focus om stealing health. I'd take a look at a couple first and see what tickles your fancy. If doing does, come back here and i'll help you make a build. Welcome to the warrior board.

These are all the current popular builds or build ideas on the thread:
Mace+Shield Support/Tank: http://www.guildwars...lds-think-tank/
Axe+Mace pure DPS: http://www.guildwars...-dungeon-build/
Shout Greatsword DPS/Support: http://www.guildwars...out-greatsword/

There are other builds, but those are certainly the most popular/effective.

MrCats' "Blood Fury" build is good, but it inspires a lot of selfishness and self survival. It could definitely undergo some improvement, but otherwise it's still a good build.

There is a good build using Hammer/LB that hasn't really been detailed in any posts. It has two variants, a Support oriented one and a Damage oriented one. Personally, I think the Support one is better, simply because Hammer isn't really a DPS weapon. Control synergizes so much better with Support.

It's sad that you don't want to use your Warrior in dungeons, they really are very versatile and powerful.

Thanks for the links.

As for the dungeon part, I'm liking my Guardian now as I rarely go down unless I'm falling down asleep on my keyboard hehe.

For fractals, I go with my Mesmer and I can't wait until Anet makes the levels account bound. I can start taking other characters.

Having 3 characters is hard to maintain and cost a lot of gold gearing them. My Guardian was geared first for dungeons.

Who knows maybe one day I will get my warrior in dungeons (its not like he never went but I don't usually take him just because he only has MF set and zerker set)

I had intentions of getting him a knight set and the Shout Greatsword DPS/Support fits perfectly :)
