glad to hear it, hadn't seen any of you and your site looked quiet. Thx for confirming that

I can confirm that I see DiE fighting in the Borderlands every night. They make a great impact on whichever borderland they're on.

It's wednesday. The day of reckoning in WvW. The day when either we tally up the scores and say "Nope, it's over" or we say "Hmmmmm. We might be able to pull this off".

Happy reckoning day to all.

Scores?

People still play for scores?

I play to wreck face and it is still enjoyable.

We were running around the map Monday night, had a lot of really fun fights and the next thing I know, I hear on Mumble, "We are about to get pushed off this map." Scores don't = fun. Winning doesn't = fun. Fun = fun. Keeping track of scores and who is winning or losing ruins a good time.

But you know all of that because, you are CalmLittleBuddy and the most awesome JQ poster since before or after Barab.

It's really first or fifth gear with you guys, isn't it?  You are either tearing up the landscape or not present at all.

I think I remember Vanu4Life mentioning something about every other week off during last weeks thread. Maybe he was on to something.

Well this method would ensure neither us or JQ will fall to tier 2.

Anyway, I could see SOS losing in coming matches (if JQ hadn't waited for midweek to begin their push, they might have pulled off a win last week), but I like to think the put downs and the like should be shelved.  All three T1 servers have earned their spots here and we're having amazing fights.

I know right.  It's like they've all been there since Day 1 and didn't say "Oh, hey, I heard we should be on X server because they are all stacking over there"

Its always interesting to see everyone reduce the mudslinging to server transfers, like they are Mr. Captain Awesomsauce the third because they picked a winning server at the start.  Its a little silly, a little like someone touting how awesome they are to be born into a rich family vice a poor one.  TSYM came originally from Dragonbrand where we were about to start a free fall from 8th to around where it is now because we lost a lot of oceanic guilds.  We chose to come to SoS at that time for one reason, COMPETITION.  Not to be #1, but to play the #1 teams and guilds!  I think we have done pretty damn well since coming up here, even though we weren't born into T1, we made it.

Ive said this before on other threads, ill say it again.  Competing in a tier below where your teams skill is will be VERY bad for your team, but so is playing in a tier higher than your teams skill.  Every day we would log on, push our score to 600 with very little competition, and then log off for the night surrendering the field to the oceanics on other servers to PVDoor.  You think it was FUN getting +600?  Score =/= FUN.  If transferring is what it takes to find good competition for your team, DO IT.  We at T1 who understand that would suggest spreading the love around to all of the top 6 servers.  The more closely matched these servers are, the more fun overall we ALL will have.

If your on a server that is not doing well, but your team logs on every day and facerolls 10:1 odds because you are mismatched, TRANSFER.  Only an idiot would be in that situation and say "well, WvW could have been fun, but we chose the wrong server, so lets delete our accounts and head back to LoL, gave it a good shot!".  Think about all the careful planning and thought, strategy and cunning you employed when looking at the server list, carefully planned your move, and choose one.  Oh right, THERE WAS NONE.  Pretty sure we chose Dragonbrand because it sounded cool.

Don't let that impulse buy dictate your enjoyment!  The competition is out there, if your server cant bring you to it, you can go to it.

So no one transferred there, no one left! Impressive, so your a bit like North Korea, borders closed eh? Interesting that you have a thread asking for transfers to your server, yet you damn them when they are not to your server! Must be one of of those T1 strats we couldn't understand because we were born to T5, eh Pureblood?

Have you ever... EVER seen me say anything about transfers? I think you have me confused with some other *.

My point is that the JQ you see now is still the same ol bunch of people from beta. Yes, people came and went. But the core began here and is still here.

I have nothing against transfers at all. Never said a word bad about transfers. I like transfers. They taste like chicken.

You said something about my server that was mostly inaccurate. JQ didn't come up from the bottom. We've always been here and that's largely due to the original population. We certainly welcome new players and WANT transfers. That doesn't mean we made out name off of transfers.

This is your own insecurity casting shadows on everyone else. I've had no issue with you in the past and indeed supported you on a few other posts when others were not so nice. Not everyone is out to defame your server and wound your pride.

I had nothing bad to say about you or SoS. You said inaccurate things about JQ. I provided a counter point. You threw out a sarcastic jab. Relax. You're in first. You guys do a great job. No one except the lunatic fringe is trying to take that away.

Now I need a sandwich. Look what you've done to me!

I guess then I was confused why you were coming into that statement on the side of native server superiority. If that was not your intent my apologies, but that was my point.

As to making statements about jq's origins, don't think I said anything about jq's, or anyone else's server. I was speaking to people who feel the need to tout their native server status as a badge of pride, looking down on transfers.

For those looking for scores, Stovokor updates them quite frequently on the SBI forums (WvW section). He was on a break for a while but he's back at it now.

Also - there are many people on the core SBI WvWers that were there since beta. I'm not a core WvWer but I have 0 transfers in my history. This does not give me any rights to anything, and I always welcomed new people (and defended free transfers) - a matter of freedom of choice. But being with the same group on the same server since the start makes it easier to survive dire times.

I couldn't resist tossin' the TIN tag out there tonight :D

You guys got us with that damn 10 golem rush though!  We were pre occupied with Tsym up at the north supply camp and the call hit, I was like...awww man...we are all in combat!!  Great move!

As for WM, those guys and gals are really stand up.  My hats off to their teams all round.  I like running side opposite of Jang whenever we are on the same map because I can depend on them to hold their own.

JQ were tossin' out some decent fights out there as well, I really wasn't trying to concentrate on them as much as usual.  Map hopping with Tsym and Agg as we were both going to where our servers could use assistance :)  However I was getting frustrated at one point from having to chase so many ppl down because they kept running from us!  I think some disturbing words that may have been said by myself was, "where ya goin' I just wanna play!, DAMNIT YOU PUSSIES FIGHT ME!, and Where'd they go? (after bustin' a zerg)"  You guys kept us really amped and we just wanted to run in for the epic eleventy billion vs eleventy billion fights, that shit is fun!  Your teams earned my respect enough to get me to swap maps to fight against ya, you make this game more enjoyable for myself and our team.

@Jerico, let's keep the one upping on each other going!

@The lag this evening, I was not pleased, I think I got booted twice and the game kept seizing mid fight or mid siege primarily on SBI map.  Any of you guys get that at all?  I know I had a few members get booted alongside myself this evening.

No #@!%, everyone seems to be experiencing a lot of lag in that borderland over the last few days, like last night we were taking SBI's hills keep I had a full 2 minutes of server/client based lag. My guess is that the wintersday event is putting a lot of stress on the servers. Oh and yeah, DiE is still active and willing to kick some collective SBI/JQ ass. <3 Tiff.
