I couldn't resist tossin' the TIN tag out there tonight :D

You guys got us with that damn 10 golem rush though!  We were pre occupied with Tsym up at the north supply camp and the call hit, I was like...awww man...we are all in combat!!  Great move!

As for WM, those guys and gals are really stand up.  My hats off to their teams all round.  I like running side opposite of Jang whenever we are on the same map because I can depend on them to hold their own.

JQ were tossin' out some decent fights out there as well, I really wasn't trying to concentrate on them as much as usual.  Map hopping with Tsym and Agg as we were both going to where our servers could use assistance :)  However I was getting frustrated at one point from having to chase so many ppl down because they kept running from us!  I think some disturbing words that may have been said by myself was, "where ya goin' I just wanna play!, DAMNIT YOU PUSSIES FIGHT ME!, and Where'd they go? (after bustin' a zerg)"  You guys kept us really amped and we just wanted to run in for the epic eleventy billion vs eleventy billion fights, that shit is fun!  Your teams earned my respect enough to get me to swap maps to fight against ya, you make this game more enjoyable for myself and our team.

@Jerico, let's keep the one upping on each other going!

@The lag this evening, I was not pleased, I think I got booted twice and the game kept seizing mid fight or mid siege primarily on SBI map.  Any of you guys get that at all?  I know I had a few members get booted alongside myself this evening.

lol i have to admit, you got us with the whole [TIN] tag. We saw the SBI group and said,
Agg member: Whos TIN?
Jerico: who gives a shit, focus on WM
Agg member: this TIN guild knows what they are doing..
Jerico: Look TIN is garbage, focus WM.

but yea, was really fun i am definately making a video out of that shit. We may have been on the losing end of most of those battles (yes i have to admit -.-) but more like to use as a learning experience for us. Thanks for the experience man! Haven't had a moment like that since we first stepped into Tier 1.

Its always interesting to see everyone reduce the mudslinging to server transfers, like they are Mr. Captain Awesomsauce the third because they picked a winning server at the start.  Its a little silly, a little like someone touting how awesome they are to be born into a rich family vice a poor one.  TSYM came originally from Dragonbrand where we were about to start a free fall from 8th to around where it is now because we lost a lot of oceanic guilds.  We chose to come to SoS at that time for one reason, COMPETITION.  Not to be #1, but to play the #1 teams and guilds!  I think we have done pretty damn well since coming up here, even though we weren't born into T1, we made it.

Ive said this before on other threads, ill say it again.  Competing in a tier below where your teams skill is will be VERY bad for your team, but so is playing in a tier higher than your teams skill.  Every day we would log on, push our score to 600 with very little competition, and then log off for the night surrendering the field to the oceanics on other servers to PVDoor.  You think it was FUN getting +600?  Score =/= FUN.  If transferring is what it takes to find good competition for your team, DO IT.  We at T1 who understand that would suggest spreading the love around to all of the top 6 servers.  The more closely matched these servers are, the more fun overall we ALL will have.

If your on a server that is not doing well, but your team logs on every day and facerolls 10:1 odds because you are mismatched, TRANSFER.  Only an idiot would be in that situation and say "well, WvW could have been fun, but we chose the wrong server, so lets delete our accounts and head back to LoL, gave it a good shot!".  Think about all the careful planning and thought, strategy and cunning you employed when looking at the server list, carefully planned your move, and choose one.  Oh right, THERE WAS NONE.  Pretty sure we chose Dragonbrand because it sounded cool.

Don't let that impulse buy dictate your enjoyment!  The competition is out there, if your server cant bring you to it, you can go to it.

Which is why free transfers being open for so long have caused certain servers to lose their population.  So what you are saying is that ANet should just merge servers for better server population.  I guess all those people at Ferguson's Crossing, Henge of Denravi, and Eredon's Terrace should just start looking for other servers.  Maybe Kaiening and 2 others as well so the server list is a multiple of 3.  All in the spirit of just making sure we please people so they can stop server hopping around or just stacking the top 3-6 servers.

Maybe we should just close the rest of the servers down and just keep 6.

What happened to your cries of "SBI is better then SOS in open field combat." So far when Isaw you guys, you melted quite quickly. (Rage I mean)

You seem to talk a lot of shit but why don't you just accept it. SOS is superior in all aspects of WvW and PvP to the other servers.

(Shoutout to SF though cuz you guys are *ing awesome and fun to fight against :D)

   Agg melts us?

   Really?

Let me tell you a very typical story about Agg.

South Supply, 2 Rage were there to get supplies and saw 20-25 Agg coming.

Agg comes at us, we fight back.

Agg withdraws across the bridge, does a mass stealth, and portal bombs.

   That is typical Agg.

Rage rolls in groups of 5-10, maximum.

You guys roll in groups of 30 or more.

That may be why you see us "melt".

That doesn't mean you don't suck.

  You do.

   Typical zerg guild.

  Nothing more.

Was good fun out there last night, haven't had such great fights in a long time. On oceanic time most servers control there entire borderland and it's a struggle to push them back. Great fun on SBI last night with JERICO :D

I just cant help but lawl at this response. Here is a typical fight against Rage.....

[Agg] Oxram - Theres some [RAGE] guys..
[Agg] J E R I C O - Everyone get ready....
[Agg] Oxram - Everyone place your nose on the 1 and roll to 0 on J E R I C O's command
[Agg] J E R I C O - and in 3...2....1... GO
[Agg] Oxram - And they are wiped good job everyone!

If you would spend more time in WvW instead of being a forum warrior then maybe, just maybe we wouldn't have to place our noses on the 1 key and roll it to the 0 key. Every time you run your suck all we hear is excuse after excuse. But hey your the one that talks trash and can NEVER back it up must be nice to always be proven wrong. So if any of you Rage guys want to learn what it's like to be in a real guild we are recruiting.

As far a "Typical zerg guild" goes...... lawl. Now go cry to your big boy guilds on SBI!

I have to step in and say this about my RAGE brethren.  I have counted on those guys to assist me quite a bit.  There a hilarious bunch and have the same exact mentality as our Silly Females guild (See what I did there with the letters?).  Quite often they have supported our commanders and ran with our teams when we had very little on these maps, and somewhat still have quite little on the maps as far as coverage.  All too often I have witnessed those guys alongside myself square up with teams quite larger than what we are running with.  I got a lot of respect for my RAGE guys and gals and their ability to make shit go in the improper direction with me.  Their team fills their role in our infrastructure at SBI.  They have their job and my job is usually to be the zerg hunter/buster, they compliment my team quite well, and I'm glad to have them as a partnered team.

Although if they are stalling you for more than 1 minute, chances are they have done their job.

Actually. I think they are being used the same way the Russian Punitive units were used in WWII:

"Trampler" mine-clearing battalions

Smaller battalions were established out of the infantry units to clear minefields as 'tramplers' - unarmed men who ran through the minefields ("trampled") ahead of regular assault forces to detonate land mines. The worst of all the penal battalion assignments, the tramplers were prepared for their grisly suicide missions by being heavily fortified with vodka rations by their leaders before attacks. Trampler battalions were assembled from the penal infantry units for major attacks and were usually wiped out to the last man, with their mangled bodies reportedly "marking the safe passage corridor of the late-war Red Army through any minefield".

LOL, I think we when all drink in game this happens all too often! HAHA!  Their purpose is just not built to handle larger numbers like let's say what our teams can do to each other.  We have a lot of hand to hand combat and back and forth siege banter, on our respective servers, that's the role we play, they just play a different one that doesn't involve that aspect is all.

Your ignoring half of my point, as is common with most of my posts. Maybe I should disperse boob shots and monster trucks in between the paragraphs to keep people on track.

You assume EVERYONE plays at, or wants to compete with top tier teams. Many want to keep it casual, just something to do in between pve or role playing. If you we're a top tier competitor, and found yourself in this community, you would go bonkers! Likewise, if you we're a casual on a T1 server, you would find no casual fun on wvw.

Posted Image

This is why server transfers are needed IMO.  This is also why it is beyond moronic to tout your status of original server member as a badge of honor.  If your server suddenly went carebear, you would be competing against casuals.  Shortly afterward you get to chose, let your guild fall apart due to no competition, or move to where the competition is.  I know your immediate knee jerk reaction is to say "BS [SERVER] FOR LIFE< NEVER TRANSFERRING LOLOL", but you are either wrong or dumb.

Sorry I don't buy the whole competition argument.  There are plenty of skilled, organized wvw players and guilds on even the lowest servers.  They just don't have the coverage.  Some people see a challenge of a struggling server, they recruit, train and face the challenge and try to beat it.  Others jump ship and take the easy road.

Some people just want to be in Tier 1, others don't care about tiers and just play for the fun and the challenge.  Just my opinion.

Yes.
Some people joined/transfered to the two servers which are always in T1;
Some people transfered to a T4 server.

Not for you to buy friend, its fact.  My guild was an example of this.  We were on a T3 server, but never getting challenged.  We ended up hounding the one or two guilds who could give us a challenge while we recruited.  When we finally lost the last of our oceanics and saw we were going to slide down to a lower tier we left.  Since moving, we have had more fun than ever!  No more taking towers, keeps, and castles with little to no resistance.  No more seeing an enemy and calling a yawn attack to just run them over.  Now we have tactical teams facing us.  Now we have coordinated teams facing us.  Now we have GOOD teams facing us.

Posted Image

So that makes us trash eh?  Total garbage players who have no loyalty to anything but first place?  The kind of team that will jump ship the second things go south?  Interesting argument.  We WERE in those tiers, and im telling you right now, almost everyone on our team had over 50:1 kill death ratio.  I personally had almost 80.  Guess all those coordinated teams in T3 were just having a bad few months?  Shoulda stuck with it?  Well keep touting that useless badge of honor that your are ORIGINAL SERVER POP.  When your server is confronted with the same problem, maybe then you can talk from experience.
