Seeing the primetime populations on all three servers has been really disappointing. I'll continue hoping that everyone is playing with snowballs but I think the truth is bright.

You should see the off-time populations. SoS has their whole map covered and we can't get even enough players to start the break-out event.

Your timeline is a bit off but the fact is that a lot of SOS guilds are having a great month long streak in recruiting.  Even more interestingly, most of the recruitment are players new to GW2.
So to clarify, SOS is getting a lot of players new to the game when they find out who's leading; but we haven't had an infusion of experienced players and guilds since DIE joined us a month ago. (who seem to have disappeared a week ago completely, it'd be nice if they let us know if they were off playing another game or something)

Anyway, I could see SOS losing in coming matches (if JQ hadn't waited for midweek to begin their push, they might have pulled off a win last week), but I like to think the put downs and the like should be shelved.  All three T1 servers have earned their spots here and we're having amazing fights.

I have seen some sad shit, but nothing is sadder than seeing the new breakout commander get swarmed by 40 + people, while the people who brought the breakout commander into action run away.

Anyone from SoS who does not yet understand that by the time they got to T1, JQ and SBI were already losing the bulk of their players just isn't really playing WvW, or they are blind.

   Look at your OWN server, and you've only been here less than a month. How's that WvW population doing for SoS compared to when you got here?

   If you haven't noticed, you're either an idiot, or your not actually in WvW.

   It's not "excuses", it is the state of the game....but keeping trying to prop up your floppy e-peens.

  In another 3 weeks, SoS won't be able to field any more players than SBI or JQ.  Maybe less.

What happened to your cries of "SBI is better then SOS in open field combat." So far when Isaw you guys, you melted quite quickly. (Rage I mean)

You seem to talk a lot of shit but why don't you just accept it. SOS is superior in all aspects of WvW and PvP to the other servers.

(Shoutout to SF though cuz you guys are *ing awesome and fun to fight against )

I should have clarified: those wishing to fight "different opponents" don't understand what they're asking for. The end-result will be no different from now (except you'll just stomp them more). The tactics will be mostly the same, minus the benefit of coverage (and some experience from more practice) that the tier 1 servers enjoy.

I lol'd!  Honestly though, this week has been a great week for TSYM to start training up our people we picked up.  With all the pressure we got for the last few weeks, we could only spare an afternoon at most!  I would recommend to the other guilds, to find that PVE/new player talent on their server, the resource that has been untapped, and use the rest of this week and next to train them up!

Also, we recently brought some new officer blood in, and they have been pumped up and motivated to bring our guild to the next level! Try it out, look at your roster, or ask around.  If there is some fired up and commers in your guild, put them into the position to spread that fire to the rest of your leadership!  Even I was taken back by how pumped these guys were to push this guild from sharing a map to soloing our own.  That energy is contagious, and before I recruited them I was getting roughly 3 recruits a week, now im pushing 10 at least.

Lastly, go enjoy this down time.  GW2 isnt all WvW, though it is the best part of it.  Hit some dungeons, level an alt, and spam that WvW recruitment message!  We have thousands on our servers who have little to no experience in WvW, and we have seen more than our share.  This is also a GREAT time to start up a new WvW guild if your thinking about it.  The untrained potential is out there, all you have to do is reach out!

I think in the case of that person in a tower, video wouldn't much be required, he took atleast two tonight in SoS BL that we know of. It's a given, if you see him on a map, place ppl in your towers. He doesn't run with the zerg, he only looks for options to take your towers. We've publicly flogged and reported him. You guys have reported him. I'm really at a loss as to how he's still here. I think between our servers though, we have pretty good communication on it. One of our commanders was in touch with one of your guys a few times tonight letting him know the general directions we'd see the suspect going in. Hell at one point, I even invited an SoS person to my group so I could say we were pulling off of a tower because we'd just found out how it was taken.

Think my bedpost notches are now pretty high up there in open field   My team is having a blast just constantly *ing with all you SoS guilds.  You guys put on a hell of a show with us!  That's how you throw down and entertain everyone!!!  Those badge bombs finished off another stack of badges for me tonight as well!!!  Agg, FoE, Tsym, Work comin' full force has been awesome!  Oh and those RAGE boys and gals of ours are pretty brutal, I'd recommend a 2 to 1 ratio when fighting those guys

JQ is not a Hardcore WvW sever. We do however have a strong core of guilds and commanders that shoulder majority of the WvW weight.  

I will be putting in my WvW hours now that my work week is over, see you on the battlefield!

So we came across an SBI flame ram train today in EB...





It stretched all the way into the supply camp too. The funny thing is that there was still one guy completely disregarding us, and just kept on building that ram in the first picture.

The idea was to use the ram in back to decimate a tower gate in one hit. Apparently this feature has not been activated in game yet.
