With that said, this is much easier, and only took me about 5 tries to complete the first time.
Turn off doubletap to evade, that's just a general jumping puzzle tip.
With regards to other players, this jumping puzzle is a bit more forgiving with the timing, I had about 2500 health out of 21000 total health left when I finished the first time. With that note, let the people who are going to get in your way go first. Snowflakes will degenerate behind you, but you've got ample time to let big bodied norn and portly charr get out of your way. Other than that, just be aware of your character; you're the best judge of where your character will land, don't second guess yourself if you're about to jump and a norn gets in your line of sight.
For the snowflakes/peppermints, just make sure you're jumping when you're at the very end (or seemingly off the end of) the platform, and if you can time it correctly, you'll never have to let go of forward, except for the various candycanes poking out of the towers. You'll want to jump until you're above those then let go of movement keys.
For the Presents, they usually shake a tiny bit before actually falling down, so make sure to watch carefully before jumping.
There's an air vent right at the end of that (you'll have space to stand after completing the presents, so don't worry about being stuck on a present). Wait for it to stop and run forward onto the candycane walkway.
This one's reverse Indiana Jones, you'll be using peppermints as a means to sidestep the rolling snowballs. If the snowball hits you, you'll likely get knocked off, and if not, you'll almost surely die from the effect, given that it takes another chunk of your health when you're hit. You can acutally jump right behind the snowball as it passes by to save some time. There are small windows of opportunity where you can skip the first and last peppermint side-paths, but unless you're low on health or good at timing, I would recommend just using all of them.
Finally the last path upwards. Incredibly straightforward, just climb. Make sure you watch your step, once or twice I got halfway up and slipped off a candycane, they don't have great footing.

Rotate your camera with your mouse while jumping. Up your mouse sensitivity a little bit if it is too laggy. I hold down run straight and let the camera hand do a lot of the work. On slight left right jumps I use Strafe Left and Strafe Right instead of turning.
After the snowflakes, the balloons will explode if you are too slow in time. I start at the middle of them and work diagonally to the left, then jump up them horizontally like stairs. For me usually a few will explode at this point but the rest will stay for at least another 5-10 seconds.
Good luck!

You should practice to be able to rotate the camera while you are jumping, that way you can easily zig-zag through it without losing time with the jump, stop, turn, jump, etc.. for presents.. just look for the effects that which will explode. Snowball part is too easy to need any advice.

The first three tries the first steps were already gone when I was finally able to move.

It definitely doesn't help that there's 6 people jumping along so they completely cover your character (esp. Norn). -.-

The game just isn't designed for jumping puzzles. They should stick to making an mmo and not gimpy mario.

Having the puzzle split up the starting locations was a great idea. It solved the issue with the clocktower being so cluttered at the start. The tower itself wasn't really hard, you just couldn't see where you were going in the beginning.
The puzzle itself was a bit of a let down though. The design was nice visually, but the puzzle didn't have any particularly interesting challenge. The jumps were very strait forward with nothing that really seemed like you might not make it or that it would be hard to aim. There was no "hidden" jump as the puzzle never doubles back, drops below itself, or "evolve" (think the explosions for clocktower). The puzzle was mostly "Hold W and hit space repeatedly."
Splitting up the start was great. Removing the tricky jumps... not so great.
Edit: Oh and I so thought there was going to be another hidden chest at the top of the second jumping puzzle at the top.

I just hoped for a real challenge for once in GW2, like they did with Halloween, but my wish was in vain..
Now everyone else that isn't at leet as you and wants to actually be able to complete the holiday content are whiners? Way to go community!

Wut?
First, already threads are popping up from people complaining the jumping puzzle drops nothing special.
So we can say the rewards are not worth it. Which makes it entirely optional.
Is it wrong then to hope for something even moderately challenging??
People just want things to fast.. People are complaining they fail to complete something within a couple of minutes.
Clocktower took me 2 hours for my first try, but god it was amazing to finally complete it.
In the beginning the jumping puzzles in GW2 were fun, now they're just boring, even if it's my first time they're so incredibly easy..
