It really isn't....there extremely common and will be available for another 2 and a half weeks...
Plus the skins are not that great.
Seems everyone is more interested in the mini pets but there account bound and you have to gamble your money away in the gem store. Some players opening 100 chests and still not getting what they are after.

They aren't hard to get. You get the drops for the merchant that is selling em and the skins drop even from the smallest gift bags. It's not the same as the halloween skins where they were über rare. And yeah, even the looks aren't that special.
Maybe it's worth as a very long term investment, but you might wait a bit, since they already dropped in the couple of hours and it's still the first day.

e.g. severed dagger from halloween is now 1g 50s, while during the event they were 2g+. Bought mine at 2g70s.

One thing you may want to check out for potential investment is the unbreakable choir bell. It's probably the only rare item that isn't soul/account bound in this event and is already going for a decent amount. It also isn't bound after use, so you can use it and sell it later. It is a pure novelty item though.
