have u read the part i said i am on uni break atm (so 0 hours towards that)? o and which part did i said i play 40 hour a week and sleep 6-7 hour a day right now? i am stating theb fact thats the average playing hours for the general public. i sleep for 3-5 hour max a day, sometimes no sleep in two day when work are overload, and i plays 3 hour a day atm in average (alot more when i have free time)

i dont own a dog, who wash the houses? if you mean vacuum+wipe the floor, that takes 30min every 2 week, my gf does the cooking (atm shes not here i order home deliveries or eat at work when i am not going home)

Well, now I can see tradeability as a relevant thing especially as it is possible to have doubles. Hope Anet works for a workaround for this. With holidays coming, it´s quite possible that there won´t be any improvement on this year, though.

That´s some serious bad luck for you. Spending such amount of real money should warrant getting what you want in any cash shop, imo.

i agree with most of what you said, cept the part quoting about me, i said they are a loser when they dont have time to play (progress, farm, hunt, save up) for the stuff they want, and yet wants all the shinny, good, awsome stuff that other ppl worked hard for.

Did the definition of loser change? I would consider the MMORPGer living in his mom's basement playing games 8+ hours a day a loser not someone who works for a living or goes to school and only has a few hours a day to "play".

someone who worked hard for family and living are not a loser. if u can read properly, my post clearly stating that ppl who dont have time, and always whinning about not getting the stuff they want are losers.

minis and costumes are big part of this game even when they do not provide any adventage at all they where huge part of gw 1 and they are of gw 2 now.

I used to be hardcore raider and later pvp player yet I never told any RP player or collector that their playstyle is wrong. Now I don't have so much free times as I used to 6 years ago so now I am only collecting mini and doing pvp or dungeons only when I have time. and don't forget it was always collectors or RPers that paid most for game as raiders or pvp players never spent on costumes or minis that much.


I actually prefer WoW sub now because I could play the way I WANT and not they way Anet wants tunneling ppl to fractals and gem store.
I still think that free 2 play model can work (LoL, Dota 2)  Right now It seems like Anet is trying to find how much they can force players towards gem store until their refuse to pay anymore. I think things like fixing guilds rehauling dungeons adding specific loot tables to mobs, fixing deserted orr fixing vets and champions as it was listed in lost shores patch notes should have been priority. but it's seems that gemstore is more important for Anet than anything else.
Now I spent 40 e this holiday as I love this game but I hate direction that devs or publisher is taking if that biggest ever zomg patch promised in january will not fix any of these issues I will be moving back to league or any other game that actually value their customer and not trying to scam them with rng and no drops every event.

in wow u get forced to raid for best gear, here you can get them easily doing the stuff you enjoy, a 1000+hour player would have the same stats as a 100 hour player. all of the cash shop item in gw2 are optional, not important, they are a WANT, not a NEED. the cash shop does not give away advantages like other mmorpg eg extra stats, power, lvl gain, protection stone for upgrades while making the upgrading chance low.

maybe you ppl do need to go back to wow, then maybe we will have less whinning here, becuase in wow when u fail on a boss, and wiping constantly every night, you know you SUCK and dont deserve the drop where as here in gw2 everything are TOO easy to obtain,and you ppl suddenly believe you are entitled to everything.

they said you dont need to grind for the levels, gears to be on par with other player, but they never said you dont need to grind for the good cosmetic stuff, anet also have a post stating that ages ago

did I say i am entitled to everything? I spent *ing 100 euro this holiday and still have do not all minis where is skill or grind in that? only *ing rng
for that price I could sub wow for what 9 months and get everything they release by playing what I want and when I want ...

for 13 month I can farm them and they are almost guaranteed to drop after 20 hours of farming in WoW

I want to buy minis but they are RNG and account bound with no other way

you are forced here to do fractals you cannot even craft exotic set when your acc is bugged with DR as I had 10 ecto from outdoor drops in past month ...
so unless I grind dungeons I cannot get same stats as those that can currently only way to get BiS is doing fractals with ascended too so again they are forcing me to do fractals

GW 2 grind is comparable to lineage 2 in every at least little unique skin

and btw  and again you dissmised half of my post when I said that people likes minis and costume for some that is end game and currently there is only gemstore for that in WoW  80% of minis are quest rewards / event rewards rest come from special editions and blizzcons and card games and few from their cash store

I never wanted anything for free
I want grind it I want to do some skill chalange to earn it I want to buy it
but not spent 150 every month to have something that I can do in other games like  WoW for only 12 month...

actually this game is not skill based but grind and RNG based
you can say that wow is RNG based too but WoW actually got lootables and you know what drops where and not hoping for random precursor to make you rich

If they want to make money, they need to design new content around the cash shop. This means there's going to be a bit of coercion here and there, but it doesn't mean they can't be fair about it. For instance you can obtain 2 of the 5 minis from the Tixx Infinirarium dungeons by simply doing them, but if you want all of them you'll need to spend some cash. I'm only interested in the mini golem and toy soldier and the fact that I get to choose sweetens the deal.

As for the lottery box minis, I think if ANet just found the correct price to sell them then they could simply forego that silliness. Lottery boxes just don't work for this demographic. For instance, some people are willing to spend maybe 30 bucks and no more for the entire event in hopes of collecting all the goodies. If the price range for all of their desired items fell within that range, the customer would be satisfied by being able to collect everything and ANet would have earned their money.

Ye, legendary weapons maybe, true they are designed for lifeless grinders (they didn't count at all exploits to make things way easier/shorter but it's an other story ). Mind to explain me , if you truly remember all they stated about grind, why we have ascended gear, and cash shop rng scams as a priority content?
Are we ending up to a p2win model maybe? What are you telling us?

they said they made a mistake about ascended gear, where have you been?stoneage?, its been a headline on guru that anet did admit they make a mistake about how the ascended are currently obtained atm, and they stated there will be more other method on the way to obtain ascended gears in the future.

does it matter if its p2win or not? most of the loser that always complain atm are gona suck either way, they suck now and they will continue to suck when p2win, wats the difference? o maybe they can suck a bit less spending some rl money in the game.

i dismissed most of you post because i was agreeing with you, until the part about wow.

however instead of perma dr on loot, theres a actually a stealth loot across the board for obtaining rares, from my own experience i used to get at least 5 rare every 30minute (the time when etco are 13s ish), and now i barely get 1-2 per hour (ecto went up to 30-40s), maybe some of you would argue that price are effected to demand (while i am arguing its effected by supplies), like seriously how many of you can affort 250 ecto for the ascended back atm?

and i agree with the part you talk about minis, and i believe they should have a reasonable fixed price for the minis you want, instead of rng.

and lastly i am sorry about using the word "you", i actually meant about those ppl who always compare gw2 with wow, and always threatened to go back to wow.
