I want to craft heavy Giver's Armor which the wiki says is craftable

I can't find the recipe or the jewel to make them though.

They're new recipes available with Wintersday. You can get the insignia recipes really easily from the gifts.

Don't bother until it's fixed.
Giver weapons and armor are bugged and the weapons do not increase condition duration, the armor does not increase boon duration.

When you say easily, do you mean they have a large drop rate?

Alternatively they might be cheaper once everyone knows they are broken, then you can stock up waiting for a fix to come through.

Nah, crafted armor and weapons do not fluctuate in price much at all. They depend more on the prices of the materials than how in-demand the mods themselves are. The only thing that'll fluctuate is the snowflakes to make them, and those make up a very small portion of the price.
