from the giant wintersday box I just got the recipe for the givers intricate insignia(the one used for armor forgot the exact name sorry)

All of them give those items you listed, but also random different ones. I think the size of the boxes determine what level of rarity that item would be. From my experience, the socks come from the smaller ones and the sweaters from the larger ones, but again, different rare items have the chance to come from them.
