Personally I found GW2 as something that came out of the gutter. Even Arenanet have said that this game is nothing like the original. So stop comparing it.

Frankly that's what Anet gets for sticking a #2 behind their game title.
Blizzard at least had the sense to not make Warcraft 4 the MMO of the decade.

If they wanted different game, they should've just created another IP.

GW2---->just another MMO
101 of human psychollogy. If I mention Warhammer 40k what is the first thing that pops in your head? Space Marines of course(I am weird Like that and I would say Eldar{<3 Eldar <3}). You mention Guild Wars and what pops? Bots/instances and equal playfield.
GW2 really shouldn't have been GUILD WARS 2. It should've been idk... "Dragonsbane{?}". That sounds ok?

The reason the name stayed the same is because the lore completely transferred over.. they couldnt have called it something completely else because then it would make no sense that the lore transferred over.
