If you get a ascended ring that already has +5 agony can you put another +5 agony resistance on it or not?

If you got a "normal" ring, then it gives agony resist only if you gem it up. However, you can infuse the normal ring, and make it have 5 inherent agony resistance while also being able to gem it up for another +5 resist. Thus in total, you can have 2 infused rings + 1 infused backpack = 30 agony resist so far is the total.
