I just don't know where to place this.

Right! I have undertaken a project to determine stat coefficients for ALL the skills. Someone else on Reddit did Warrior weapons so I am only going to list them. I only need to know if you want me to be meticulous as a German(as the saying goes) and post coefficients Like 0,99 or 2,49 or shall I just round them up(1-2 dmg difference)?

I'll post Guardian+Warrior tomorrow :P!

Edit: Offensive weapons for Guardian done! I'll try to do underwater weapons as well, but it is difficult because I can't seem to find max lvl dmg range of those weapons(Wiki is useful only for dmg numbers...).
Leather Armors are next and in this order: Ranger/Thief/Engi!

Edit 2: Clothies are next and in this order: Ele/Mesmer/Necro. After that, the fun begins!

The numbers that you see here have been calculated using stable weapons(always average damage), with 916 Power and 2600 Armor. No modifiers at all. Tooltip dmgs used are from Wiki.

When you see sth like X/X/X it means that it is a chain skill. Sth like (5x) means that you do 5 strikes at written coeff(multiply it and you get total skill coeff). Also, the skills are listed in the order 1./1./1.(if applicable), 2., 3., 4., 5..

Without further ado, the results!

WARRIOR

Greatsword:
0.7/0.7/0.9 , 0.55(7x)+1.1(1x) , 0.7 , 0.75 , 1.7
Axe:
0.75/0.8(2x)/0.85(3x) , 0.7 , 0.67 , 0.6(2x) , 0.2(15x)
Sword:

There ya go chaps! Onto the adventurers( or as I call them-Leather Armours)! I just wanted to comment the mighty blow. That skill's damage is REALLY absurd and when you take into consideration that it reallocates you(!) AND that it has quick animation(!) AND that you can easily hit 3+ enemies with it(!). No comment(it's really out of whack). Also, I am not sure if each line in Guardian's Third Sword Chain skill has 1.5 coeff or is it 0.5 each(I think latter otherwise it'd be WAAAAY OP). At Greatsword skill #3(Guardian) I listed guaranteed 7 hits-there are also 7 projectiles that could or could not hit your foes(depending on the size of hitbox of your foe)-that would make its coeff 0.36(14x).

thanks Raspberry. I'll do my best. After this I'll dive in DPS calculations so I can help ANet(will post this on main forums when I am finished). And no, I am not Ensign(why thank you Snog! :D).

This time next week you'll have Leather Armours-this I swear...

Besides, it is way more useful to talk about mechanics/classes than it is about "WAAAA WAAAA GW IS NOT FOR ME WAAA WAAA!!!!". A civilised discussion if you will(can't have that with trolls).

Taken out of context, yes it is a very powerful attack.  It is also balanced by:

A slow (though admittedly effective) 1-chain.

Long cooldowns on 3 - 5.

Low damage on  3 - 5.

You can't look at a single weapon ability in a vacuum, and I'm confident Anet doesn't.  To do so leads to bland design and homogenized gameplay.

I agree about Hammer. It still is powerful(unlike say Staff/Sceptre at Mesmer's). I feel sad how Weak Staff is there really(optimally Winds of Chaos needs to apply Poison/Bleeding/Burning and NOT vulnerability). Meh. Maybe some other time...

Progress! Ranger done and I REALLY advise you not to invest in power that much when playing him(cond damage way better).

Update: Thief is DONE! Pistol let me Down :(

Only Engi is remaining until I post results(Expect them on monday at the very latest)

Perhaps I'll finish this before Christmas-this would be my gift to ALL GW Community then :) :)

Leather Armours are done! Can't calculate flamethrower/elixer fun dmg coeff since it seems that it doesn't have dmg! O.O

Your thief SM (skill modifiers) are slightly off, shortbow autoattack,for example, is 0.52, cluster big bomb is around 1.38, cluster fragments are 0.47, etc. You are doing this only based on heavy golem, (2600 armor,i find it to be 2598 more precisely), but you'll have to test with other golems for consistency; the medium has ~ 2320 armor and the light has ~ 2182. Dont interpret this as being criticist, im just assisting a bit and giving my input.

I mean I DO have 3600 Armour War build, but I ain't testin on that baby! Who has 3600 Armour? Mega Wammo that's who(and yes that build HAS Mending :P).

You might wanna use my spreadsheet, under the tab "test krewe", ull find a golem testing area with all golems estimate armor and 10 different power sets, or 10 hits, its has formulas that will do the job for you.
