[Subjugate]

Just out of curiosity and because I am flip-flopping between the one I want, was just wondering if anyone has gotten their legendary of choice and regretted it afterward. Personally, I am interested in the rifle and shield, but because neither has really flashy particle effects, I don't know if I'll end up regretting not getting something more eye-catching for my first legendary.

Originally I was going after the focus just b/c i wasn't interested in any other skins.  I stopped pursuing that when I saw how awful the Minstrel is.  I did however make the Bifrost and am happy with it.  

I haven't seen the rifle but imo the shield is a very nice legendary.

BIfrost. Not really. I wanted the first for my elementalist, and there isn't a lot to choose from. Really a female avatar-only item, though. Males would probably be better off with the Incinerator in the S/D rollout.

Twilight and Flameseeker of prophecies. I don't regret it. I've put some thought before starting them to avoid that internal questioning.

Just sad that other legends don't really fill my tastes such as the axe ( I'm an axe user).

all of the legendaries have videos in this forum somewhere showing the effects of each.  if all you are looking for is "flashy and eye-catching," then basically the only ones you should look at making are the greatswords and the juggernaut.

I personally decided that despite my overall disdain for the entire system of acquiring any legendary at this point, I'm gonna work for the juggernaut.  I like the skin and use hammer mainly on my warrior, so I figured "eh why not I need a goal."

I regret not finishing mine.  I really wanted to have one when they were very rare, and was making excellent progress until I threw away all of my gold into the mystic toilet.

That's basically how I feel.  Eventually I'll start playing again and finish the grind someday, although it will pretty much feel like starting from scratch (worse even) due to inflation and my having about 2g to my name.  Still trying to decide between Twilight for the guardian or Bolt for the mesmer.

Hammer is my primary weapon of choice for guardian, and it also happens to look awesome. I'm so glad I finished the Juggernaut. Overall, I am very satisfied with my choice. I would say make the weapon you love to use the most, and work at it. It's worth it (unless the weapon itself sucks, and looks ugly, then rethink your choice XD )

I am in the same situation. I am planning on getting the Warhorn legendary. Because for some reason i believe the effects will be awesome for an ranger. Changing the wolf that howls and the birds that fly out or something. It is one of the only ones that don't have a vid yet. Saw a screenshot of a warrior having it saying it doesn't change the effects.

But if only the skin changes I for sure would be dissapointed.
