So the further the personal story develops he evolves into a villain that we kill by impaling him with eternity through his Anther.

OMG !! yes that so much, i would love to kill/murder/obliterate that guy, i mean, we are doing OUR personal story and that guy just takes over mid run and its is story from that point on, i hate it so much that from level 30 or something its no longer your story, felt so wrong and cheap.

Say what you will about SWTOR but atleast in there its was MY story until the end and i like it that way. ( im just talking about the personal story part of that game, dont quote me on other things )

Also we should carve the wood into a pipe which we can smoke while we sit in the Shire. Wait...

I want the next big storyline section to start with "Trahearne died in an unremarkable way that we're not going to ever mention again, it was his time" *insert the rest of the game here*.

Before we do anything with Trahearne, kill or no kill, let's either mute him or find a new voice actor. I don't want his dying scream to sound like a dad who's been forced by his son into a game where the son shoots him. You know the sound. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaah..."

I want him to admit his voice is the most boring ever. He's supposed to be a general and he seems as excited to have... Done the ending as someone would have finally taken his morning shower.

When I read the tittle my first thoughts were "No! He shouldn't be developed more, he should be killed with fire!", but it turns out that's what you were suggesting. Great minds think alike! :D

Yes, I absolutely hate him and hate that the story is no longer your personal story so I just do it with someone who is doing the same line and just fight while she does the story.  That was incredibly stupid of ANet.

Honestly, I'd rather he just never turned up again. I don't even want to murder him purely because that'd mean I'd have to see him again.

I'm really feeling the love for stick-boy here.

I would carve him into a Louisville slugger with a dull scaling knife then use him to seal club Quaggans :)

Then I would make a recording of him pronouncing the word "Orr" and play it repeatedly at Anet HQ until they either leap out of the windows or remove waypoint costs, whichever comes first.

Trahearne should be dried out and rolled up into a giant cigar for the colossus.

Let's try to keep on topic. Also moved this to the correct section. Please be aware of where you're posting, not to mention the frequency with which you create threads.

Thanks.

You are fooling yourself, user. Nothing here is what it seems. ANet is not the plucky hero, Guru is not an evil empire, and this is not the grand arena.

Maybe not so extreme in your response but I could totally picture such a storyline where Trahearne falls to the "darkside" and you have to defeat him. That would make the story much more interesting and you could pass it off as one of the reasons why he was always so confused during the main storyline (he always pestered you about stuff "I don't think they trust/like me" because you're boring!)

honestly I would enjoy just using my engineer's flamethrower on him for a solid 30 minutes until the ash was burned away.

He's so contrived. Soon as you finish a quest he's like "Moving on" in that tone of his.

I was hoping for a plot twist where when he finish the ritual the first time at the tomb, he failed and evil possessed him and ever since (after u defeated him) he couldn't fully control himself and eventually succumbs to evil due to being too weak at the end of the final ritual of purification Lol... and u kill him xD

Same, was kinda hoping for a.death kormir style and we end up being the rightful heroes. But I guess the badly voiced broccoli made.the cut.

Of course he survived the cut, he is a good meat shield most of the time xD I think is will only make players more annoyed when he became a boss he becomes so powerful that the usual him is ridiculously sucky.

Waaah! I didn't get to become a god or get to be leader of the Pact Waaah!

Though I really don't mind on Voice Actors. I did not find him annoying at all, but I did feel like I was robbed out of a personal story like.. people were robbed out of an ending for Mass Effect 3. =/

Thanks, amazing cartoon, with a great intro (both seasons).

Trahearne is important to the sylvari story, why throw him into the second third of the story for everyone. I enjoyed the main story all the way until he became important, more important than us.

For the ones who played GW1, winds of change, there's a quest which disguises you as a random enemy (corsair, jade brotherhood or am fah), and when you are spotted, the leaders say things along the lines of "he's the one who took down dagnar stonepate" "because of him I lost my armada of ships" etc... And final joke, someone says "wow, this little nuisance gets around doesn't he?".

You were the hero of the stories, sure history remembers you as a mighty hero who helped the legends, but it didn't feel that way, doubly so in eye of the north.
