Wintersday:
  • Changed the “Toypocalypse Cancelled” achievement so that only one gift dolyak needs to survive the activity instead of all five.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Pop Guns from playing the correct audio and visual effects.
  • Toymaker Tixx’s Chests have been removed. Instead, all players will receive an in-game mail containing the Wintersday finale one-time rewards upon logging in during the Wintersday event. Please note: only one reward will be given per account.
  • Fixed a bug in Winter Wonderland that would occasionally cause players to be teleported to Lion’s Arch on success.
WvW:
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to bypass walls in the East Keep in the borderlands to get into the keep lord room.
Also saw this note from a couple days ago that I don't think got mentioned in the other update threads...
  • The gate to Arah in Cursed Shore will now only be closed when events directly in front of it are active.

Good stuff. Thoughts:

-The Toypocalypse Cancelled achievement was pretty doable already -- I didn't do it but my wife did and caught on pretty quickly, and she generally hates that kind of thing. But eh. Whatever.
-Glad they fixed the JP bug. That was irritating.
-Nice change to Arah.

Arah change translation:  We can't keep enough people in Orr to keep it open across all servers on a regular basis.  Our gating mechanic is only slightly worse than WoW TBC attunement for new players at the time Black Temple was released.

Let's not kid ourselves that they're offering a decongestant as a cure for strep.  It's not addressing the underlying problem.

Sounds about right.  Sadly, this will probably prevent this event chain from ever being attempted/completed again.  Hope you already got your Infiltrator's karma gear.

Nothing for spvp players, glad they care more about shipping out small updates for content for pve than work on the part of the game that is die'n.
