I´m looking for uncommon shield skins.

What i know:
- AC shield ... looks nice
- Ghastly Grinning Shield Skin ... for my opinion to dark
- Legendary ... maybe in 1 year
- Winter Skin ... is there a shining ?

Any others ? ... maybe with picture.

Uncommon.  Good question.
Not the normal wooden and iron peaces .... Maybe with a Symbol ( like your Lion) or with an effect

If you're just starting out the glyphic shield is pretty nice one to start out with, the light parts kind of glow and there's some glowing around the edges when it's drawn

im currently using Wall of the Mists. it glows and is see-through. also dont see many around at all.

Personally, I like the looks of items that are more "real" looking rather than the cartoony "WoWish" items that flash and glow and look absurd.

The Lionsguard Shield and Axe are the best looking stuff in my opinion.

I don't normally use a shield on anyone, and as such I don't carry one right now, but this is the only one I would ever use.  I really haven't found a skin that strikes me as a "must have" the way other weapons have.  This is the best of what imo is just a series of poorly skinned weapons.

I use the Dredge Barricade as well.  It's a craftable piece, so shouldn't be hard to acquire, especially if you have access to a weaponsmith.  Rivetwall has the same skin.  Harder to get, but cooler name.

I like the galleries in the wiki.....of course often all it does is tell me the skins I really want are the extremely expensive, rare weapons that you would never work for just for the skin......unless you have enough money to just buy Eternity outright. lol

I like a lot the Peacemaker Shield, with torrents of energy engulfing his plates; can be obtained at the Asura's Tier 3 vendor in Rata Sum at about 65k karma points. I'll buy it to transmute the sking as soon as I get my exotic high end board for my Guardian.

I'm also a big fan of the Ebon Vanguard Shield.

The only problem with the Ebon Vanguard sheild is that its not a sheild, its a piece of useless metal with a rather appropriate opening for the head area.

Its the eqvivalent of strapping a whiskey bottle on your head and hope it'll protect you from falling debris.

Only drunk Charr do that.

Thanks for the galleries people. I'm also more like to wield a 'real'-looking shield, but there's tremendous clipping issues with the Charr (male) character model. Which skins avoid this nastiness???
