(This is just my opinion)

I'm a Guild Wars 1 veteran player, played Guild Wars 1 since it came out. When Anet announced they were gonna make Guild Wars 2 I'm like hell ya this is gonna be awesome etc. Later down when Anet started to show Guild Wars 2 gameplay footage at the gaming conventions it looked pretty sick. Then they started to do the beta weekends, when I played the beta I was pretty much blown away from it. it was fun for me was different from other MMOs, wasn't copying that WoW clone like a lot of MMOs do these days. Been playing Guild Wars 2 since its been released and having a blast. One thing I like about Guild Wars 2 no monthly fees can play little bit take a break come back and the game is there waiting for me.


Now onto the people complaining about Guild Wars 2. Most of these people are rushing through the game, trying to play it like other MMOs are played. If you rush through the game you are gonna get bored just like any other MMO you rush through. Some of the people who are complaining don't have any friends to play with, guild, etc. Let the game take you wherever, go out kill some stuff events come up go to them, go to the next event near by, gather. Don't force yourself to sit there and play, not fun at all. Stop complaining on forums, sites, blogs your complaining is not gonna change other peoples minds just wasting your time. If you don't like Guild Wars 2 why are you on guildwars2.com, guildwars2guru.com, all the other guild wars 2 forums/fan sites. What does your complaining really do?


All the content Guild Wars 2 has just at released is a lot. Imagine what expansions gonna be like, probably gonna add Elona and Cantha to Guild Wars 2. On expansions they are gonna be adding a lot of stuff like new armor, new weapons, pvp maps, level cap rise, etc. Can't wait for what Anet will be doing for expansions.

Some may agree others may not, doesn't matter cause everybody has their own opinions.

I hope they don't raise the level cap. That'd mean more trait points. That'd dramatically influence balance.

Other than that I agree GW2 is still fun for me.

Levels are barely required in this game to begin with.  All it did was add artificial extension and prevent people from queuing up for the 'end game' in Arah at launch.  Gave them, what... three days for that to happen?

Cat is on the table. I have been reading countless of QQ threads in GW2Guru and I must admit that at the moment GW2 community looks pretty "angry". In my opinion the QQ about just anything is very high. I saw a thread some time ago where someoned basicly asked "why is the QQ so damn high" and immeadiatly the next replyer said "Look at mirror". When ppl QQ in fansites or other related sites about something they usually forgets to input something creative in it. If something does not suit you in game maybe it suits someone else. Or is everyone having the same problem as you? If the answer was yes you should put your suggestion how would you make it better. This is something what has been bothering me a lot but never wanted to make post/reply about it cause more of these "look in the mirror" guys starts to pop up.

I see on official gw2 forums the Mods are deleting the threads very harshly. And most because there's really nothing for them to gain for it. There's no suggestions or anykind of input how to make the QQ related stuff become better. There's stuff in the game I am wondering "Why this/Why that" but I am not QQing of it if I can't even suggest options for better solution(s). And as ppl say the "game is not new" - it is true but do old GW1 veterans remember how long it took for the AN to not charge Skillpoints when lowering Attributes in GW1 ? I'm still wondering when does this happen in GW2 with the Traits. And we can all agree on that the game has no monthly fees. You are not forced to play it if you do not like it as it is at the time period you are playing it.

What I'm trying to say here is if you have something to QQ, please, try make creative (more or less) solution for it. Help the AN. We are here for them and other way around. The devs don't want to hear frustrated QQ.  They want to hear constructive comments that include possible ideas on how to fix the problem.

i leveled a char just doing the daily achiement quest and farming centures for cloth 1hr a day and hit 80 in 20 odd days u cant not "rush" lvling here and thats part of the problem imo once i hit 80 it was bored havnt loged in other than the daily somedays

all gw2 has to offer is zergs and dungeon runs for the 1st it was cool now after the 10000000101010 one its boring/lame as for dungeon runs i left WoW to stop running dungeons and with no LFG its just a pain unless FoTm even then its what lvl are u....

crafting serves no purpose as ppl in this game as no sense on how to make money they put items up for LESS than what it costs to make bags for example cost 20g just for the rune and they sell for 20g on TP

i honesly tried to level tailoring from 1-400 without the TP i managed to get to lvl70 and still in the mid 100s and farming cotton.
DR killed this game for grinders/ppl who want to farm their own mats

if u only play GW2 for 1hr a day then yes its great... prob is most MMO players play for 4-6hrs a day GW2 has nothing to fill in for 5hrs nothing to collect they made fine Tstones/mini's real cash only and non tradable if u get doubles the armor other than racial is UGLY i mean id take my collection of 7 armor sets in gw1 i had for ranger over ANY medium armor set compare studded armor in GW1 to GW2 i rest my case (on female, dont kno what it looks like on male in gw2)

You must be new here.

People have been putting up stuff everywhere they can.  Their official forums are over-moderated garbage, subreddit is actually starting to wake up and smell the manure and then there's this place...

ArenaNet doesn't care.  They people complaining are likely not people paying into their gimmicks.  They're moochers.  ArenaNet's going to keep working the current angle until its no longer profitable to do so.  It's really just a question as to how quickly their paying customers start to catch on and taper off.

Really it boils Down to what Librarian Akinos said in Dawn of War: "Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment"->that applies only if there is TOO MUCH hope/expactations.

Really guys, learn from your mistakes and become better persons. You don't have to Like GW2. Hell you don't even need to play it! But, for the love of Asuryan, make those 60$ count for something. At least consider it as an investment in self-improvement project. That or you can choose to be sheep Like Yanks.
