i have recently buy the game and have just got around to install Guild Wars 2. but when i go to download the game int says Download failed! Please check your internet connection and try again.

but for some reason, it won’t download and gives me the error message “Download failed! Please check your internet connection and try again. (2)”

I’ve already tried most of the suggestions Google gave me. Disabling the firewall, adding exceptions to the firewall, disabling my antivirus (i'm using AVG) uninstalling my antivirus, and the problem is definitely continue.

i am trying to play along with my brother but now that that error keep bothering me, any advice anyone?? i really much appreciate.

None of it has worked, and I’m out of ideas, so here I am.

I disabled all non-Microsoft services and all startup programs then ran Game Advisor.

Any suggestions?
