I know that you can upgrade an ascended ring by using this formula:
Infused ring = 1 Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence + 3 Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence + 5 Vial of Condensed Mists Essence+ Non infused ring

But can you upgrade an already infused ring that had +5 agony resist prebuilt in? I hear you can and it adds an extra Infusion slot is this true? If so, how do you do it? Theoretically this would give a possible 15 agony resist in one ring right.

Rofl. Bro, they was fooling you, a super infusion doesn't exists..

I am not aware that you could add over 10 agony resistance on one ring. But you can add +5 other stat next to the slot resistance. Check here
