Still will not be worth it, by then it would need what? 1500+ T6 materials needed + few hundred mystic coins, 500+ skillpoints, and another 500+ of another expensive material.....
For what +50 in stats and thats if you can all of one stat type which you can't get because of the stupid offensive / defensive crap. Then maybe +70 agony..which is a stupid thing to have in the game in the first place and completely pointless and not even challenging game mechanic.
The upgrades are just nowhere near worth the time, grind, cost and whole ascended system has been very badly thought out and rushed.
Like I said Anet must be on crack if they think that amount of materials is justified in GW2. Hopefully they make some changes, but honestly it should never have been put in the game in the first place. Also agony is just a pointless thing to have in the game, I mean its not even hard to avoid or it doesnt have any meaning involved into the content at all, other than to give a reason to get agony stats....
Is like the whole system was rushed into the game just to justify more grind. It makes no sense at all..
Ascended/fractal content is good for the game yes, but the item system is just epic fail and terribad, it needs re working. The materials cost for the upgrades is way too high compared to the actual infused items. It needs re adjusting.

The one's that need passion flowers are the omni infusions, which are the infusions that can be put into any infusion slot (i.e. both defensive and offensive). So yea, the ridiculous grind you mentioned can give a person +50 (or+75; I can't be bothered to add that shit up right now) in a single stat.
