Seem as this is now dreams thread... ^^

I'd love to see guild focused content. 10 man + instances with bosses that will kill us repeatedly. I want to wipe in instances, I want to face a boss with crazy mechanics. I want group make up to matter. That time you spent building your characters spec should mean something in PvE.

And no I dont mean 'raiding' - I mean dungeons. Give us elite dungeons with end bosses that have a chance to drop a rare weapon skin. Something we can bash our faces against for months and shows player skill and coordination. Legendarys were supposed to be that for PvE players, but they're essentially who has the most disposable income. Everyone and their mums has one these days.

Wow I'm grumpy today.

Other than that:

- guild halls/player housing. because everyone loves sandbox.
- being able to run fractals as 2 man+ instances to jump in as and when
- scavenger hunts, because theyre just fun ^^

OH!

Observer mode for s/tPvP. Because I'm too daunted to play it myself currently but its so fun to watch and it would get people interested in it as they could 'preview' it first. Also who doesn't want to watch talented tourney teams go at each other :D

And on the crafting thing, maybe some fun (useful) things for level 400. Ive done all the crafts now and they just sit there till I level another character that needs gear. Would be nice if you could get crafted buffs (like cooking) leather insoles for runspeed, armoursmith could do body armour for under your gear which gives a toughness boost or something. Stackable stuff for harder content.

I think ive rambled on enough ._. my 67897350 cents it seems :)

I want:

- A new personal storyline involving Jormag and his minions
- atleast one new dungeon, one of wich must have Jormag as killable end boss (and make it feel like I killed him, not some cannons)
- New areas, with new DEs, JPs, Vistas, and heart events.
- ascended items as reward for all dungeons (rarer than in fotm, so it doesn't get abandoned)
- new pvp modes
- more to do in wvw (including some solo content, I don't always have a group/zerg to follow)
- new utility skills
- new traits
- new sigils/runes

More bug fixes.

A serious pass at underwater features: there are several runes & sigils that do not work underwater & Elementalists do not have access to an underwater elite skill until after spending 50 skill points. My elementalist is level 50 & I still haven't unlocked an underwater elite skill.

How do you want something that pits hundreds of players versus each other to be skill based?
PvP on that level is always more about tactics than it is about individual skill.

I'd be happy with changes on a much smaller scale, there are a lot of quality of life improvements that could be had.

- Separate bag inventory for Heart of the Mists(so you can keep different sets of sPvP gear ready to swap in your bag without clogging up your PvE)
- Allow free WP's to all capital cities from anywhere in the world(since we all go through HotM anyway)
- Allow us to reset traits anywhere in the world(even if keeping the 3s change fee)
- Let Ascended items salvage into something so they don't become vendor trash
- Let loot and interact be bound to two different keys
- Trait builds saver!(I don't expect this for awhile, but boy would that make me a happy man!)
- Let Dungeon Tokens stack to 1000 and depositible(seems like this may be in the works, right clicking them now shows the option, only greyed out)
- Make Badges of Honor a currency, not an item so that players need not worry about spamming loot as they fight

I could probably think of more, but these changes would go a long way in making the game more enjoyable for a minimal amount of effort :)

The very nature of tactics and strategy denote skill to my mind, I am not referring to anyones ability to press buttons here, but the bigger picture.   It takes no skill or tactics for people to run around like headless chickens following the commander icon.  Of course the commander is making strategic choices, but the sheep are not, and therefore, for me personally, there is little fun to be had.

I do agree though, higher tiered WvW is only about who has the biggest zergs and can field them for longer....anything else really just gets washed away by the trampling feet.

So would it not be better, read.....more fun for the masses, if there was actually more tactical things that could have a lasting impact in the battle by smaller groups?

My first exotics gears where crafted i gathered the materials. But yeah now the prices are too high unless someone you know craft them for you.

Apart from bugfixes (as those don't really qualify as content and should be released anyway):

- A slight overhaul of the dungeons; fix 1 shot encounters made difficult by lack of animation visibility, remove annoying RNG things, balance the difficulty out a bit.
- If they can't fix 1-shot animation visibility maybe add a target cast bar (at least for NPCs) so that when charging animations are obscured by spell effects you can still see when you need to dodge.
- More skins! There are a few mix and match options but the selection isn't large enough and a lot of kit doesn't really work together. Especially the weapon skins are mostly underwhelming (1h more so).
- Balance out some item costs. Why does a 1 handed weapon skin cost the same amount of karma as a 2 hander? Same for Orr karma exotics.
- Maybe expand on town clothes a bit - add more items in different slots that you can buy with gems and mix and match to make a nice outfit. Maybe have town clothes give you swiftness when you're in a town.
- Add more ways to obtain legendaries and ascended items instead of making people either grind the same mobs for weeks on end or play the TP. They could add mats and even precursors (or precursor rares to combine in the MF) to dungeon chests for example, give people more incentive to run those plus it's a lot more fun to grind that way than it is to kill the same mob over and over again. A legendary should be a prestige item, not show how much gold you've bought with gems. And make legendaries account bound again. (Before people start having a dig at me: I'm not saying they should be easy to obtain, just add more ways to do so to make it more interesting)
- More world events like the dragons. Right now people are watching the timers for Teq, Jormag and Shatterer and porting between those - this has created a sort of meta game which can be fun, but add more of those sort of things so there is a choice. Maybe even add timers for the big events in game so people can prepare for them.
- Building on the previous point: someone posted a while ago about zone wide events where an entire zone is at war and needs players to win (like outdoor massive raids and not just on dragons), that sort of thing would be pretty cool.
- More randomization of events so they're less predictable but alternate between a few sets of scenarios that can play out.
- Hoping for more dungeons with interesting mechanics. Please no swamp fractal repeat (no it's not hard, it's just freaking annoying).

I'm not expecting a new dragon or personal story as that would probably be in an expansion, but there are a lot of good ideas out there and I hope they pick up some of those.

I'd like to see dyes that are shared among all characters. And a major improvement to skin management. It were cool to just unlock skins and be able to apply them on an item whenever you have access to the bank. Right now I feel uncomfortable because two items are merged in order to apply a skin. Even in WoW you still keep both items. That is the least solution for this problem IMHO.

Then:
- more *good* skins in the gem store (there's still no reason for me to buy anything in the gem store)
- more medium armor skins
- ascended items in common dungeons (I hate fractals)

Uhm, if I could have anything:
  • New faces for all races. More womans faces to choose from on female human, more mens choices.
  • New hairstyles for all races. A few more casual ones, like just a simple pony tail for those who fancy that, more tomboy hairstyles for females, more long, short and mid options for male as well.
  • New horns, ears, etc for the races that have such options.
  • Introduce makeup and SCARS as a choice in the character creation for female and male human as well as charr and norn.
  • New body types for at least human and norn females but also male, no longer will you have to chose between big, bigger or biggest boobs or weirdly shaped body if you don't like huge melons. As well as more normal bodies, I really think there should be ACTUAL options for people who want to play curvy characters, extremely skinny barbie with melons is not curvy. More bodies where there's actual fat on the body, more athlete bodies, more NORMAL bodies.
  • New armor pieces, as well as implement the ones you can only get in PvP to PvE.
  • Make a new dungeon, which will be the same FoW from Guild Wars(Perhaps make it a 10 man dungeon), that gives all the obsidian armors from Guild Wars, LIGHT: Monk, Ritualist, Mesmer, Elementalist, Necromancer, MEDIUM: Ranger, Assasin, Dervish, HEAVY: Paragon, Warrior.
  • Introduce a underwater campaign with the Largos. I'm not a super fan of underwater but the Largos are a really interesting race with a lot of secrets!
  • More RP options, such as clicking on a bed to sleep on left or right side(so you can sleep two in the same bed :D), clicking on a chair to sit, clicking on a fire place to make your character look like it's warming itself, etc etc.
  • More emotes such as interacting with other characters like kissing, hugging, pat on the back, cuddle, carry, and a hugging emote where you both stand and hug till one of the characters move however this must be acceped by the other character/person you choose to use this emote on! And you can put these on auto decline. More dances, perhaps being able to buy a emote card or farming them like in AION. A /head emotion like in Guild Wars.

  • Better guild, chat and party system. I think if you're doing general PvE you shouldn't be forced to only have to be 5. Only 5 for many doesn't feel like a party/team, and I personally as well don't feel that way. I'd like to be able to have up to 10 people. And if I could, have up to 10 people for dungeons(obviously have to make dungeons harder, but it also probably wouldn't even work, as this game has no required teamwork to actually do anything).
  • Change the goddamn tail on charr when they shoot with a bow ^^
This is all I want atm, probably some other things but don't remember!

I want (basically DAoC wvw progression)
WvW progression in the form of player killing points.  I don't want the points earned by taking or defending objectives.  I want the points earned only by killing other players.
Then I want the player killing points to determine rank, which would give access to titles, a small increase to character attributes, and access to new utilty/elite skills.
WvW leaderboards for the week, month, all-time, broken down by class, guild, over-all.

wut?  even without wvw progression, I have a blast doing PvP.  Whether I'm in a group, or solo, or following the zerg, it's pretty entertaining.  spvp is fun with my guildies too.  maybe you're doin it wrong.

- 20+ man raids
- arena's
- harder dungeons
- drops with 0,1% change (at bosses)
- balanced pvp
- new spells
- weapons
- a smithing thingy where you can customize your weapons en you can customize you weapons with things you get from bosses or something XD

Ranger, Warrior, and Necro reworks:
• Ranger's Beastmastery and reworking their terrible 6-9 skills
• Warrior utility buffs/changes and reworking the awful skills found on every weapon
• Deathmastery and Minion skill changes/buffs across the board.
More attention to detail in balance changes

I would like for a complete overhaul of WvWvW. It's ridiculous that towers and even keeps change owners on an hourly basis in some tiers. It's retarded that you can field 10 players during the night and capture the entire zone. Sieges should be an epic experience and take much longer than what they do currently. The enemy team should definitely have quite some time to react to it too. I have seen entire maps be flipped in an hour. It's just stupid.

I would also like the WvWvW zones to be progression based. For example, to push the Keeps in an enemy BL a server should first have to secure the lowlands. It makes no sense that you can have small roaming groups of people who capture towers and camps around the enemy base when you own nothing else in the zone. This would also help consolidate the players on a map to a specific point, something that would make WvWvW battles much more balanced.

There needs to be a fifth tier of bases added to replace the sentries. Sentries serve absolutely no purpose. These bases are the only ones who can be captured without progressing through the zone, and take the form of a small watchtower something like this:

These would require 2-5 people to capture (kind of like supply camps at the moment), and will 1) increase the importance of small strike teams since the other stuff is beefed up, and 2) make it easier for these strike teams to then for example ravage a supply line in preparation for a siege.

Which brings me to my last point. Supply needs to play a much more important role in the game. A siege without supply is not going to be successful at all, and likewise I want the defense of a keep to be hard if your supplies are drained. Supplies in a keep should also have an attrition mechanic, so that interrupting supply trains are still very important even after a Keep is upgraded.

I haven't played GW2 a single moment since Planetside 2 came out and that's because months ago, I hit 80, and did the dungeons/content.. got my Exotic gear and then said "okay, now what".. and the returned answer was "nothing".
I have had ZERO reason to log into the game (I might today just to see what I have missed).. but as far as content and progression (scary evil word), there's nothing left for me to do.
I'd REALLY love to see some top end content, open world bosses.. like maybe a dozen new world bosses/dragons/giants, and a dozen new events.. that lead to tough fights, that require coordination and ultimately end with a chance for good/useful rewards. Something that would require a few guilds/large groups to get together and coordinate how they would attack the boss.. "okay, guild 1, you have the adds.. guild 2.. on the healing/boons/conditions.. " etc.. something epic in content.

Again, I'm SURE it's just me.. but I have no reason to log into the game these days..but I am clamoring for one.

Increase the drop rate of Lodestones.  Legendaries aside, just want a few Air Runes for my set w/o having to cough up 30 gold, which for casuals is a lot.

Game is turning into an RNG grindfest.

The game is fun but he need a total revision,major changes very hard to do people migrate at the first good MMO release.

-Itemization need a total revision(easy itemization,Some items need nothing and others lot of  250 T6 component why nothing Between both? you want our Credit card?)

-A real PVE (group/raid)

-PvP of mass without lag clipping it's possible? (every devellopers say mass multi factions PvP is the future but with lag clipping? is this possible? Maps are small in WvW you sell battlegrounds as open PvP?)

-The game need a total revision.

-In my guild 30 members in the PVE and 30 in the PvP section and until two month 0 active players is a terrific conclusion for me.

Fix loot scaling. You should be rewarded the same in Caledon Forest as you are in Orr, dungeons, or WvW. Map completion should be as rewarding as farming meta events or dungeons.

Global meta event notification. Add a UI customization that notifies you when one is about to begin. Like the Dragon Timer, but in game. A similar function could be added to champions as well. I would be just as happy chasing dragons and over sized worms all day than I would be in any dungeon.

- Fix Ranger's Longbow 1 skill damage, and Sword 1 Skill rooting effect.
- Guild Halls
- More guild features
- TP item preview
- Guesting
- New/Improved meta events
- Skill/Trait balances
- LFG feature

as a disclaimer, I'm normally a heavy PvE player.  These are changes I want to see overall that would get me to play WvW and PvP modes more, along with PvE changes I'd like to see.

General:

-guild halls (#1 want)

-lfg tool comparable to gw2lfg.com

-alliance system like GW1 had (mainly for WvW purposes, but nice for everything else as well)


PvE:

-rework of legendary system to remove all RNG but add difficult quests/instances required in the completion of it

-legendary precursor gets a scavenger hunt of sorts with these quests, but is soulbound on acquire from events and can still be made in the mystic toilet for resale

-increase boss, dungeon, and open world loot to similar levels of fractals to help clear people out of LA and back into the world.  change the DR codes so that level 80 characters would have a reason to consider being in lower zones over CS/Frostgorge/Fractals

-rework southsun cove to be worthwhile to play other than just farming a rich ori node.

-a few kick off zones for the next dragon.  don't care which dragon, but a few new zones and large-scale events (like the dragon events) would be nice.  Even making 3 new zones in 3 different areas would work.  1 north of frostgorge for jormag, 1 somewhere for Primordius, 1 south of fields of ruin for Kralkatorrik, etc.

-remove ascended gear as a different level of stats.  Add a quest/recipe to infuse armor/jewels like in GW1 for resistance to agony.


-overhaul of WvW:

-fix culling issues.

-remove all PvE elements from zones (remove items other than blueprints and badges from JP chest, but keep JP), and remove WvW requirement from world completion and the badges from the requirements for a legendary weapon

-a leveling system distinctly for WvW so there is a sense of progression.  as you progress, you change from "invader" to "soldier" to "knight," etc.  Requirement in becoming a commander is to progress through this system.  Progression comes from just about everything in WvW (kills, defends/attacks, building/destroying siege, etc.).

-commander gets a UI and actually has command functions outside of an icon.  The title is no longer able to be bought in PvE for 100g.

-add special bonuses for the server in first place of the tier so that each server has a benefit to winning.  the current bonuses don't cut it.

-return something on the line of orbs to give a reason to fight in the borderlands over EB.  At least in t3 NA, borderlands are normally empty or sparsely covered, while its very easy to find a fight in EB.


PvP:

-new game modes including GvG and Random 5v5 TDM arenas



and there are of course things I want that I missed cause I can't think of them right now, and obvious things like skill edits and changes so stuff works, etc.
