I apologize if these questions have been answered and I have not found the answers, though I do take the time to research what I'm doing so I'm not entirely clueless.
I'm interested in Buying Guild Wars 1 for the HoM Rewards, the armor skins, and that dang good sexy little Dragon Fiery Sword.....
Anywho, my questions are
1). I have enough money to purchase "Guild Wars Trilogy" Do I really need the "Trilogy" edition (which contains all the.... "DLC's" or "Expansions"?) in order to get ALL the points?
2.) Lets say I buy Guild Wars Trilogy but NOT EOTN which I understand you need to get the HoM rewards, can I start gaining points by playing Guild Wars Trilogy?
3.) How long might one take to get to 10 Points? (Its my goal, for armor and that sword skin, that's really all I'm interested in.)
I do have enough money to purchase Guild Wars Trilogy on steam but not enough for the Eye of the North expansion which I do understand you need, but I'll purchase later when I get a chance to buy another steam card.
Thanks for your time and hopefully answers!

1) For all points (50) you need all campaigns (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall). Note however that after 30 points you will only get titles as a reward.
2) Yes. If you buy EotN afterwards you can stuff everything you collected into the HoM after you've added EotN to your account. Pretty much like everyone did back in 2007.
3) We have a handy guide here at GWGuru. I'm not sure how long it would take you to get to 10 points starting from scratch. 30 hours?

Yes you need eotn to get the stuff in the hom.
You can already buy the trilogy and start working on it though.
Getting the 10 points for the armor and FDS wouldn't take long.
There are guides specificially for people like you online, that guide you through everything.

You can get quite a few points by owning just one campaign, but you can get them faster and easier by owning the Trilogy. Having all the campaigns opens up many options so you can do some cherry-picking of the activities that will get you HoM points.

Start ranger. Go to nightfall. Master reward all the missions in normal mode, level your pet to 20, outfit 4 heroes with prestige armor, and buy the cheapest minipet you can find. IN fact, all you need to do is get to the end and beat Abaddon. Don't even need to master the missions, because simple completion gives you the one hero statue you need for the 2 points. 3 for linking, 4 for the 5 companion statues (level 20 pet and 4 heroes) and 1 for one mini. The armors needed for the heroes can be achieved easily in the challenge missions along the way...each mission gives you 2 or 3 rather quickly as you run them, well before they get difficult enough to overpower a new under-geared player.
10 points with accounts linked.
