Well I didnt know you should buy the whole set for the exotic karma armour at once so I bought 3/6 of it already. Wheres the fastest/best place to grind karma to correct this mistake.

Unfortunately, i believe Orr is still the most effective. Monthly and daily gives karma jug too. Dungeons reward karma as well. But I think Orr beats them all.

Daily awards 1 jug - 4.5k and monthly awards 10 jugs, i think dungeon runs are faster.. as Orr is usually dead!

Daily/monthly karma jugs, and use karma booster + the 2 guild booststo get 70% more out of them.

Other than those I do loads of dungeons which gave me 700k+ karma atm.

Ye as Hurricane said, dungeons are usually faster. It all depends ofc on whether you get good groups, run dungeons for long enough (especially the farm paths) compared to if you ever find enough people in Orr to do the events quick enough.

You can easily do two dungeon paths in an hour or 1 of the harder paths, which will net either 2.5 or 5k karma. Even at it's height, Orr would net you about 5k an hour, without boosts... now, who knows how much you'd get.

Question, feedback or issue? Pm me!

Weird, but I get a lot of karma by just helping my server in wvwvw. Add the daily jug of karma and there's a perfect recipee for me for getting karma and doing something I like doing, unlike killing same mobs (yeah, undead) in same place (Penitent / Shelter anyone?) over and over again. If you add a dungeon run or two (after killing bosses you get bags of wondrous goods which also contains a drop of liquid karma - it isn't much, but it adds up), you should get all the karma you need.

You can do all 3 AC paths within 1hour with a decent group, which nets 6k+ karma, CoF p1 + p2 are a joke too and net 4k+ karma.

I'd say farming AC over and over is the fastest way to get karma.
AC 3 paths = 6,6k karma from reward + 4 bosses * 3 times * 750 karma = 15k karma / hour first run per day.
After that I think the karma end reward gets cut by 3, but the drops of karma remain.

Sweet nice maths with the 20kish I have now I should hae another piece tommorrow. Also if my guild decides to do wvw its alot of karma. I would do monthly but kind of scared to do fractals with unmatching gear. But I always make sure to do daily. Though in Orr different named mobs dont count as diff enemies. Is it a bug?

Why should you buy the whole set at once? Buying a piece once in a while is good enough imo?

No it's not a bug, they all just count as risen.
You shouldn't be afraid of doing fractals as long as you stay under lvl10.
I did lvl1-5 on my lvl58 warrior with lvl50 rares. :)

Doing fractals with unmatched armor isn't going to hurt you enough to warrant not running them.  The party knowing what they are doing in each instance is key to succeeding

A guildy thats the richest and best theorycrafter in the guild as well as many others agree that these are well rounded sets. Together they are very well rounded but alone they can be odd.

Ah, I agree they have very solid stats and can be odd alone. But most of them work just as well together with easy to obtain crafted gear in the meantime. No need to wait until you can buy a whole set at once imo.

Ps: no need to reference 'best' theorycrafters or guildies, I will decide for my own if i trust your opinion without references ;)

Also, are there more people in Malchors,Straits or Cursed Shore? I'm atm in Cursed Shore and I went to malchors ( the first half ) and it all seemed to be empty. Haven't even moved into Cursed Shore yet

Any gear you have in mind?

Well, karma has:
  • Power/thoughness/vit
  • Prec/thoughness/cond
  • prec/vit/healing
Crafting has:
  • power/prec/crit damage
  • power/vit/crit damage
  • power/prec/toughness
  • power/cond/vit
  • cond/power/prec
  • cond/healing/toughness
  • healing/tough/boon duration
Pick the stats you need more of, not matching the stats 100% wont make that much of a difference if your build is decent and you will be able to replace them soon enough. Knowing what you are doing is far more important while running dungeons than having the exact stats you want.

I make my builds with stats in mind, not gear. I build towards 50% crit & 2000 power & 1200 toughness or 500 healing & 1500 toughness & 1500 power (made-up numbers), so for choosing armor it's pretty easy from mixed karma, crafted, dungeon and wvw vendors.

I don`t know if anyone already mentioned this or if Anet got rid of this nifty trick, but let`s assume you don`t this.
You can also use a karma booster with karma jugs to get more karma.  I don`t remember how much more you get but it helped me a lot.
Hope I helped you and goodluck! :)
