As the title said , Im trying to make my character look like Roman Centurian , or atleast a Roman Legion soldier. Pretty much Im no a good path but I could still use advice , maybe some better looking armor etc.

PS* Everything is exotic , alot of transmuting stones were used .. if you want names ill will make a list.
Thanks for all the help in advance :) Posted ImagePosted Image

This armor would actually be better for achieving the look of roman armor.

Roman armor was skirts during that time period. They didn't use full covering pants like that. The helm of your set is definitely a roman inspired style so would work.

The Vigil heavy armour set is also very heavily styled on the Roman look.

Question, feedback or issue? Pm me!

I'd say something like this:

Shame the karma leggings mesh so badly with nearly all full body chest pieces. Might work better on male characters though.

Legs, boots: karma armor level 30-40 zones (Fields of Ruin, Lornar, Gendarran)
Hands: Chain (level 5) crafted, other minimal gloves work too
Helmet: Vigil
Shoulders: Splint (level 40) crafted, other minimal shoulders should work too
Chest: Honor of the Waves chest piece, no sleeves+somewhat appropriate look

Have a look at the honor of the waves heavy armor set. In the warrior screenshot thread I've seen some very roman look-a-likes.

Well its done ! I've finally made it the best I can. Its not 100% realistic, I perfer darker colors ,and maybe a bigger armor like the shoulderpads.. Im gonna be straight honest but I think this is as good as it can get. I will make a list of which armor I had been using.
All in all its pretty cheap , which makes it really easy for everyone to make.

Head - Vigil (1-2g )
Shoulder - Wren Pauldrons  (Cost 400-700 karma not sure )
Chest - Enduring Breastplate ( Cost 400-700 karma )
Hands  - Commanders Ganulets , ( Human tier 1 ,  30-40S )
Legs  - Greenflin Seraph Heavy leggings (Karma 400-700 )
Feet - Vigil Boots (1-2g)

Dyes - Burgundy / Black
I really Hope you like it ! And rate it and ofc if you have better idea share please !

Honor of Humanity (http://wiki.guildwar...of_Humanity.jpg)

Couldn't agree more :D   But since I like darker colors would't fit in too much :/

I did not join the Vigil, I joined the Priory unfortunately, so is there an alternative skin to Vigil armor ? Thanks.

Well if you have another character in the Vigil you can transmute the items.

I'm not a fan of the bare legs but you did a good job there. I personally like the dark colours more too :)

You look awesome. If you want historical accuracy, replace the shoulders with something smaller and dump the gloves. Roman legionnaires wore sandals but the boots look cool so that's ok anyway. I think a red/white or red/gold color scheme would look better but that's up to you.
