Edit: problem solved. I'm dumb. The following boosts do indeed cause Barbed Precision to tick twice.

Messing around in the Mists, I was trying to get to plus 100% bleed duration to get Barbed Precision to tick twice.

Under normal circumstances, like general PvE, the idea would be to use Rare Veggie Pizza to get to 100%, but in this Mists test I used the following:

• 30 points in Spite (+30% condition duration)
• Hemophilia (+20% bleed duration)
• 2x Runes of the Afflicted (+15% bleed duration)
• 2x Runes of the Krait (+15% bleed duration)
• 2x Runes of Lyssa (+10% condition duration)
• Sigil of Agony (+10% bleed duration)

Into the Mists build calculator representation of the above.

Now that should add up to +60% bleed duration and +40% condition duration, and that's what Into the Mists indeed shows.

I am able to successfully double the bleed length of my Scepter 1 attack from 5 to 10 ticks. But when I get a Barbed Precision proc, which is supposed to apply a 1-second bleed, I still only get 1 tick with this setup.

Am I missing something here? Doing something wrong? Would this work "properly" with the food buff instead of this roundabout solution?

Try throwing Centaur in there instead of Lyssa and see if it goes to 2x with the extra 5%.

Well, I figured out the problem. As usual it can be attributed to human error...

When I was testing the Barbed Precision bleed times I was using Staff auto attack since it applies no conditions itself. Unfortunately that staff had no Sigil of Agony on it. So basically I'm dumb and and everything works as advertised.

If nothing else, I can at least semi-convert this topic into a little helpful guide on how to "easily" achieve +100% bleed duration with a food buff and still maintain a decent condition damage stat.

Here is a build link that puts unbuffed bleed duration at +60%. Rare Veggie Pizza gives +40% condition duration which should allow Barbed Precision to tick twice per proc, essentially doubling its damage. If Rare Veggie Pizza is too expensive for your tastes, you can replace the Sigil of Corruption on the dagger with a Sigil of Agony and use a lower grade of pizza.

In the Mists, with full Rabid, the base bleed tick is for 112. That's at 1,389 condition damage.
