Hi all,first Happy new year!!!!!!second sry for my bad english!!!

I would build new pc for GW2 .....have this GPU , can i do a decent pc for play wvw ??
My actual cpu suck (athlon64 x2 4600+  1xgeforce880gt) and very laggy , want change for i5 platform.
The choice for the motherboard depends on if i can use these gpu or no(for sli option).

I would not spend the money to buy anouther 8800 with the cost of the 8800 and a more expensive motherboard that can run SLI you could buy a cheaper motherboard and one decent card and get better performance without the problems of running 2 cards.

Maybe I expressed myself badly . I have "2x geforce8800" and I try to understand if it is worth use this 2 card or buy one new GPU.This SLi configuration (performance),  is similar to which good current 1xGPU? It's worth the extra money ?
I don't want any great claims only to be able to see what happens in WvW in real time !!!!!

If I understand what you are asking, you want a motherboard with a Z77 chipset that supports SLI.
For example (and recommended) - the ASrock Z77 Extreme 4

Also, you would get better performance and have no SLI issues by getting a single GTX-660 or HD7850.

the difference in price (215,29 euro), justifies clearly more performance?

For >20-30 fps in WvW (great event) the 1°build can work?

I'm not interested for max setting,i only wont play WvW decently,only to be able to see what happens in real time !!!!!

I used to run a pair of HD4950 (1GB) ATI cards in crossfire (similar to SLI).  I noticed very little change whether Crossfire was enabled or not.  I replaced them with a single HD7970 (2GB) and noticed a great improvement.  

Granted, it's somewhat of a case of apples to oranges, as these were older HD4950 cards, Crossfire is somewhat different than SLI, and the rest of my components are different than yours, but I do think you'll see a lot more bang for the buck in investing the dollars you'd spend on a second card elsewhere in your system.

On a side note, if you want to future-proof your system, you may as well get a mobo with SLI support.

The easiest solution is to get the 3570 and the ASRock Z77 motherboard* (and RAM) and try it with the 2 x 8800. If you're not happy with that, then buy a new single card.

*There's no particular reason to get the Gigabyte board with the 2 x 8800. You could get either board with either video configuration - they both support SLI. Get whichever motherboard has the features (besides SLI) you want.

It should be mentioned that a pair of GTX 8800s in SLI is weaker than a GTX 660Ti and probably won't give you the performance you desire in WvW.  If you play at a Medium or Lower Resolution and turn the settings down in-game it might be ok for you, but not at "Max" or even "Very High" settings.

Like Quaker said, you could buy all the other parts and try it with your 2 GTX 8800s and if they are too weak, buy the GTX 660Ti at that time.

AsRock Z77Pro3 not support sli, but Z77 Extreme4-M yes and i have find it for €93,41
It's cheap price and i can try without waste much money If I have to buy another GPU.
