Thinking Human Female, Asura any gender or Norn Female.

Imo human cultural armor is better than norn in all cases except leather (though that of course is personal taste). Asuran T3 look amazing (its what zojja wears), but I find that asuran armor tends to all blur together and look the same. If you are not planning on getting cultural armor the difference between norn and human is minimum. You will get similar faces but different hair options on either with a choice of tattoos on norn. Norn at minimum height you will still find are taller than most humans male and female unless they go for a taller height.

Skills wise I think norn shape-shifting is pretty neat but you will likely not use those skills very often in PvE and WvW if at all.

Female human elementalists. Probably the most common combination created. Maybe its for the armor, maybe its for the boobs and butt. I'm not sure about you, but I dislike the idea of running around in a clone-horde of female caster archetypes. The sad thing is, most of the body types look alike so no matter how you customize your character, it all ends up the same, though most people just choose the biggest bust and hips they can find.

That's just me though, I chose a male charr elementalist..... with bright purple TA armor. If anything go Asura. I love them.

I made female norn, but all my characters except 1 are norn, so my opinion is probably biased.

It really is a personal choice, but I understand that the purpose of posting the question was to get an opinion. The opinions are going to be subjective though. My subjective opinion is, go for Asura. I also think the T3 cultural for Asura is amazing.

On that note, there's something strange about Asura T3 light. On male Asura the epulets show, even if the user has not actually purchased them yet. On female Asura the epulets never show regardless of whether we have it or not. I still don't know if this is intentional or a bug. Regardless, I did mention it to support a while back.

Also to clarify, that screenshot is old, the boots and gloves are Priory gloves. I just haven't gotten around to making a new screenshot to showcase the cultural T3 boots and gloves which do look a bit nicer. And I always wished the helm would work properly with hair, but no, it just makes any Asura look bald.

That answer is, human.

I really just... can't find myself... enjoying any other race for some reason.

I know I went off the beaten path, but I absolutely LOVE my Norn Ele. It took me quite some time to find a class I love and I don't think it could look better than doing it in Norn Tier. This is Tier 2, but for the first 40 levels or so I ran T1 Norn cultural.

Oh, and the Tier 1 looks really good on females too (But T2 and 3 are subpar imo).

I like the Asura for the racial poison combo field....  It is funny how many people dont move out of it in wvw zerg fights.

Asura for all.  They feel speedy because all classes move at the same speed.  Norn and Charr feel like they lumber to me.  Also enjoy Asura when it comes to jump puzzles.

There are some really nice light armours for human males, although it does depend on your personal taste.
I really like the stately, winged, armageddon and seer (especially the seer) armour sets on human males (and Sylvari males for that matter).

Really depend on your preference. I like Ascalonian ( AC) and Kodan (HotW) sets because they are simple. Nightmare and Corrupted Orrian are the same across races. Winged armor is pretty nice and easy to get. Embroided is surprising good even thou it is low level armor. It makes you look like Aladin (and yes, the female one makes  you look like Jasmine). Tier 2 and 3 culture are pretty neat too.

Human male voice is really good too.

Think of it this way:
what would you like to spend looking at for a long time.

My main is Charr warrior - Love him. and I love charr animations and vocals.
My alt is Azura Elementalist -she is so bad ass, funny and cute at the same time. Barely holding on her feet and being awesome all the time.

boobs are nice ofc, but it wouldn't be my personal preference.
