Wondering if anyone has been banned or received infractions for ridiculous posts in the GW2 forums. I keep getting infractions for the stupidest shit I don't even want to post there anymore. Maybe if they spent less time moderating their forums and fixing their game more people would want to play GW2...

I recieved an infraction not long ago for using capital letters in certain WORDS.

Which was kind of funny because a because a post above was all caps instead, without an infraction. It was probably the content of the post (storyline progression bugs that the devs admitted they fixed weeks ago yet hadnt implemented in live when they had introduced and fixed other "catastrophic" bugs in the meantime, like the dye drop rate) and they just had to find something to nitpick about.

there are plenty of horror stories coming from over there from people on this forum.  I personally don't even look at the official forums other than for patch notes if I catch them there before the wiki.

Not much to see over there anyway, just a lot of trolling especially in the general forum.

Just posting at all seems to give infractions. I remember awhile back when the login servers were down, I posted in a thread about it saying "Have the same issue.". Got my an infraction for negativity which was my first one. They could always cut some butter off the moderation team, and add some more fluff to the programming team. Maybe then something would be getting done in a timely matter.

Yep, I have a hard time using the official forums. I am a bit too harsh when it comes to GW2, mainly because of really, really high expectations. Long story short, they don't like a lot of things said in the forums. When it comes down to it, this truly is the best GW forum.
p.s. I lived in Fort Collins from 08-09, one of my very favorite places ever, plan on moving back someday.

Plenty of grumblings laying around here already, don't need an actual thread for it. Everybody has issues with one moderation team or another.
