with sword or GS auto? , what about phantasms damage?

Crit chance you can easily get above 65%, 75 too if you insist but it's kinda pointless. Mesmer damage is split up more in to separate hits but it's not impossible to see the screen full of numbers ranging from 2000-6000 using say a greatsword + shatters. Or spike 10000+ on a ball of people from max range. Sword 2 can do up to 6000+ as well.

I don't understand this thread. Of course can get close to this kind of damage, gear glass cannon and start shattering. You don't even gimp yourself as hard as Rangers have to, to do this. Shattering clones does AoE damage and you can apply confusion to entire mobs, why wouldn't you be able to do this?

Without a DPS meter what are you expecting? To compare by eye about the hits of one warrior against the hits of a mesmer + phantasms + shatters?

What you are looking at is DPA, which is nice, but it's DPS you really want to know.
