Alright I know this is a bit of a normalcy... but I have a question about money.
I have literally just started looking at the legendary crafting... I am going for the things I know I can get with just playing the normal game(i.e. not the precursor). I have no problem getting the T-6 crafting items (just takes time), and Karma is easy for me (I get roughly 100k a week just by doing daily and events) however, that being said I have no idea how to make gold in this game...
I have played since start and have only made roughly 42g... I know that I will need a minimum of 100g just for the icy runestones... and then 10g more for the recipe.
I am currently salvage every yellow drop I get for all the ectos I can because I need a lot more (clovers and 250x) so i dont get that money.
I have time to play about 1 - 2 hours in a night max and dont get to play everynight... SOOOOO my question is; Is there a good way for me to play to get loot / gold or is it just going to be LONG slow process because I dont have the time to dedicate towards the good gold "farm"???

with 1-2 hours a day it will be a long grind. The only way around that is if you get good at the trading post.

There are only 3 ways of getting gold in Guild Wars 2:
1) buying gems and converting them to gold. that's quite RL costly and most people wouldn't resort to such solution
2) play the Trading Post: buy low, sell high, thus flip everything what may go up in price. Takes time however to learn it and to do it.
3) exploit, which goes against the rules, but there are some who don't give a damn about them in order to reach their goals, though Anet pretty much fixed all the possible ways to generate gold too easily. (karma-cooking-materials, pre-cursor craft, etc..)
Your best option is 2).
