I was just wondering why I seem incapable of creating spoilers on this forum to hide excessive bulks of text and images to appear to only those who choose who want to see it. Or do we have it and I just haven't seen it used and got the code wrong. :p

E.g.
Spoiler
.

Tjanks in advance. :D

Hows about asking admin to add one more tag with exactly the same functionallity?

copypasting code from "spoil" and adding "er" after shouldn't take long.

I agree with Biz. btw, i think i also had to ask what the spoiler tag code was.

I think it's a strange word to come up with as a non-english speaker. I know it sounds silly. But i was like "spoiler".. what else could it be? And then i heard it's "spoil" and i was like. oh ofcourse!!

It could be me tho :p

I know I tried "spoiler" as well, at first, wondered it didn't work, thought it wasn't available on this board, then saw someone use it, quoted and thought: Oh, okay.

this.  no need to add an additional one that uses "spoiler".  just quote someone using the tags already and u will learn how to use em.

For the sake of a more intuitive system I've now also added duplicate code for [spoiler]. Good idea, Biz.

actually since this thread has started, I was wanting to ask if we can have a [giant image] http://[/giant image] kind of tag to encourage us to hide giant images.  cos not everyone wants to load 10k of images everytime they try to read  a page.

please?

Wont spoiler tags work just as well for that? Except they say 'spoiler' and not 'giant image'?

Pumpkin, the forum resizes the images automatically right now. These types of threads are few and far between though with the massive amounts of images.  Something to look at possibly but we do have measures in place to help with this already.

Hiding the images behind spoiler tags wouldn't deal with the issue of having to download all the images anyway, they'll still be there so the current resize system works fine.

Funky colors? Not really sure what you mean.

If you mean with the forum names it shows different levels of mods, admins, paying members and forum supporters.
