No one cares about dueling? How hard can it be to make that tiny function work well? I bet a lot off people would love to be able to duel and note being in need of "duel in hot-join", thats just a stupid argument

TL;DR make portal an elite skill = GW2 sPvP fix'd (while keeping mesmers around)

only 400 views, this is what you get when launching an unfinished part of the game. PvP needed (at launch) more standard 2012-2013 features, I just hope february + future nerfs aren't too late to save the arena.

We don't want duel in PvE zones, that is a stupid feature that is ruining the PvE, kids wil just spam requests ruining the GW2 feeling, but for PvP'rs with a custom arena will be solved.

Never ONCE in the game did I ever hear someone complain that there wasn't dueling.  I've heard "It's just not fun",  "the matchmaking SUCKS", "the rewards suck", "too much bunker", "too much spike", "everyone would rather MARKET PVP", "we want GW1 skill bars back!!!", "OMFG I'M TIRED OF HAVING TO THINK WITH PORTALS", and everything else under the sun.  But not one goddamned time did I ever hear someone even mention duels.  It's this made up thing that only the Forum Illuminati believe in and they think the Devs will ignore all their in-game time experience to bring them this one stupid feature that less than 1% of the population will ever use for anything (besides discovering exploits faster like they used to use it for in GW1 battle isles ...and no they didn't report those exploits either unless they were so hilarious they  became memes).

Okay there are obvious ways of solving this issue. I am really in for a dueling-system (requesting a player to a 1v1)
If there was an option that makes your account ignore requests, that would solve the problem you mentioned.
