I am trying to figure out, if Empowered Illusions and Phantasmal Strength do stack.
As far as I have seen they dont! Anybody did some research?
If they dont stack there is no point of putting 25 points into the inspiration tree.

I am still trying to find a suitable alternative...

1st choice, very offensive.

2nd choice
Altough almost everybody favours it, staff is not my first option.
I dont like the slow nr1 on staff and I prefer iberserker instead of iwarlock for the cripple and the damage. (iberserker hitting 3times doing roughly 5k damage and iwarlock only shining if there are plenty of conditions on your target, otherwise 3-4k damage)

nevertheless I would go with a build like this one...
http://www.gw2build....0.10.30.20.0.10 (Mirror of Anguish instead of Chaotic Dampening might be an option especially for 1on1 situations)
