If not, then having 2 1h is a bit unfair isn't it? if they equal the same stats as a 1 hander AND lets you use 2 different sigils, that's an advantage over a 1h weapon right?

For example, my shield and pistol both use bloodlust, so I gain 2 stacks of bloodlust a kill instead of 1...

No, they have similar stats although two one handed weapons will have +1 in some stats. It's not necessarily an advantage because each weapon accomplishes a different goal (is sword/axe the same as a greatsword for a warrior?). Also, post in Q&A.

Stats wise are the 1h and 2h almost the same with one handed weapons you do have a small advantage in the form of two sigils. But you have to take in account that if you have both a sigil of air and a sigil of rage, both will enter cooldown if one triggers.

Actually, onehanders win in stats too. To compare three exotic berserker weapons I use:

Eirs Longbow - 179 Power, 128 Precision, 9% crit damage

Flame Cleaver and Haven Sheild (transmuted) - 90 Power, 64 Precision, 5% damage

Meaning that the two handed bow has 1 less power and 1% less crit damage. Its not much, but its less anyway. And of course I have two sigils on the two onehanders.

I dont understand why Anet never enabled two sigil slots for twohanders... Or why its not 180/128/10%.

This is a pretty lame excuse, but I think it's because the two handed weapons were designed as sort of an easy way out. With one handed weapons you'd have to think of the best possible combinations both regarding your playing style and your traits for the skills to have the best complimentary effects.

Still, damage-wise, I think the 2hs win most of the time, due to their skills being more dmg orientated.

Two sigils of Bloodlust seems like a waste. Yes, you may get your stack faster, but you still cap at 25. Having Bloodlust on one and some non-stacking sigil on the other ensures that you're still getting some sigil benefit even after your stack is full. I think that's a major benefit of 1h weapons, and I agree with dawdler that they should have allowed for double sigils on two-handers.

Not for a Warrior at least. Axe is the highest dps weapon. Only the greatsword come close (solely due to 100b), the hammer/longbow/rifle is inferior. But perhaps for other classes. Mesmer greatsword is vastly superior to the others.

The difference in stats is mariginal, but two sigils can be an advantage.
