My main is a 80 necro and the only crafting prof i maxed with it is chef (i left tailor around 200). I have two low level toons a thief and a ranger(both 20). Since chef only makes food i don't really know if the 'real' crafting professions have anythig that benefits the maker(like in pandaland:bound items which only the crafter can use etc.) So should i learn all the crafting profs on my main and switch whenever one is needed or just learn them with different toons? If it is more beneficial if i distribute them between the other characters what should i choose? I was thinking huntsman and leather for my ranger and jewel for my thief but since the rest isn't that good should i choose another leather for him too?
Thanks

- Everyting you craft can be traded, so no need to duplicate a certain craft.
- Crafting gives experience, so it would be a waste to do it on a lvl80.
- Switching crafts cost money, (40s when you maxed a craft), so you should give every character max 2 crafts, so you can switch characters and don't need to pay the fee.
- Weaponsmith for your thief, so you can craft your own daggers/swords/...

Agree, if you're not so fond for master crafter , spread disciplines for the reason Gil wrote

Or just post your other question here? Depends if other people could benefit from your question?

It's not about crafting but choosing a different profession for a new char so i'll go with the Vigil Academy section.
